This is great! I replaced all my kids bedrooms and closets with a more expensive model and had trouble with one of the closets. I bought this to try and it worked like a charm. I actually like it a lot more than the more expensive ones we went for- I was worried about the flip down cover and my kids messing with it, but they haven’t really noticed that timer - and the other one has the timer uncovered which they mess with constantly.If you are on the fence, buy this one - it’s really practical and gets the job done!

I like that this one the minutes buttons are hidden and the switch just has a nice clean look. Those people don’t know the switches are there they won’t play around with the buttons.

I purchased this timer as a replacement for one of the wind-up 8-hour timers which I used to control the power leg feeding my back patio fan and lighting switches (see photos). My setup allows use of a single timer to power on all the patio equipment and ensures they don’t get left on indefinitely, thus avoiding excess power consumption.In researching replacements vs. the original I noted that the original had a much lower power rating, which considering the load may have contributed to the failure. This one operates the two fans and six incandescent lights with no problems and the timer selection and on/off switching is very straightforward. Some other reviews indicated some issues with installation and use in multi-gang switch arrangements but I did not have any issues installing next to a dimmer with a standard dual switch plate as shown. This timer works very well for my application and the Honeywell name provides additional peace of mind.

I wanted a timer for my whole house fan. Was concerned with with amount of power it could handle for 1/3 hp house fan. This one can handle up to a 1/2 hp motor so no issue there. I am replacing it with a programmable one but have really like it as it works as designed. Installation easy with just having to push the wire through a hole and tightening a screw.

I was happily surprised when I discovered that the timer had dual wiring so that I could easily combine the fan and light functions on a bathroom fan/light without using a pigtail. I was also happy with its appearance, which is much cleaner than most of the push-button timers on the market. It's easy to set and even easier to simply hit the button for a regular timing interval.One caution: to ensure that the door/button swings open properly, you may need to play with the depth of the switch in the electrical box so that it clears the cover and readjust other switches if it's part of a panel. It took me twice as long to do such as it did to wire the switch (which was itself a breeze).

I don't know if this thing was supposed to come with an outlet cover or not. The picture shows one, but there wasn't one in the box I received. Now I gotta find one somewhere, and hope it fits correctly. Blah.The timer functionality works great.Edit: After the manufacturer response, I did review the product listing more closely and I see where it does say the wall plate is not included in fine print on a couple pics. So, my mistake, I'll bump it to a 4 star. I'd suggest making that fine print bigger though, and maybe make it red so it stands out. Or just get rid of the pics with the wall plate shown, since it is a bit misleading at first glance, obviously.

Very simple to use, and install. Using with a whole house fan, and a separate three speed switch. I love this setup. Gives a lot of flexibility with both the multiple time settings, and speeds. This timer is really clean looking, too.looks just like a regular wall switch, when it's closed. Easy to open and make time changes as well. Very happy with this.

It's nice that the settings are hidden behind the cover, but you can still turn it on and off without opening the cover. This makes it look a lot nicer then the other timer switches I've seen. Lots of setting available in this small size. Only owned it for a few months but so far it's worked great.
