Does not fit a 19inch flight case but otherwise good.The sides need to be trimmed by 4mm at each end

Well built, convenient but not quite perfect
This item is built on a U section aluminium rail with the sockets, spacers and switch mounted in grooves along the arms of the U meaning they are very securely attached. All four sockets worked but the shutter in one of them needed to be exercised with a screwdriver before a plug could be inserted.Unfortunately the designer didn't consider the possibility that users might want to connect devices with switched mode power supplies built into the mains plug. The sockets are too close together to allow all four to be used with this type of PSU. Widening the spacing of the sockets would be simple and a complete solution to this problem. Additionally, the 1.5M mains lead proved to be too short but in other situations it may be too long. Selling the distribution unit without a mains cable would be ideal, these items aren't likely to be installed by anyone completely lacking in technical ability.
