I bought this coverage to cover spill damage on an electric kettle. Sure enough, about 18 months after purchase, it got spilled on and ruined the electronics. I filed a claim and had to send the kettle in with a prepaid packing slip. I got my refund within just a few days. Very easy and smooth process. Well worth a few extra dollars to cover the purchase.

I got the protection plan on a single-cup coffee maker because I've already bought two of them and they only seem to last about a year. When the coffee maker died, I put in a claim and as soon as the prepaid shipping label they sent me was scanned in at pick up, they emailed me a gift card to order my replacement coffee maker.
