I can't keep the keyboard clear of dust and dirt. I will buy a computer with a silver keyboard next time, but for the price it works just fine.

This is the laptop as the centerpiece of my audio/MIDI research studio. When I got it, it started kicking butt right away, I got it for audio, so 16 gig ram, quad processor, SSD drive all make it hum, it's most notable weakness is that it's only 1.7 Ghz not like 3Ghz & I5. It still is fast and multitasks well.... It is windows 11 Pro, Pro is good....As with all 14" laptops, it's got good real estate on the monitor, but is a little heavy, and a little large, a tradeoff....Hard drive is 512 GB, you might want to trade up to a 1 TB drive. I generally like Dell as an American brand (I don't like HP) and I owned a computer repair company for over 20 years....Gud luk!

The laptop worked for only two and a half hours!I use the same exact model for my work computer for the last four years. I'm very familiar of its capabilities and limitations. I wanted one for personal use at home for light use. I thought it was a good deal when I came across the posting on Amazon.The seller claims that - "This product is inspected, tested, and refurbished, as necessary to be fully functional according to Amazon Renewed standards." - I think that may be a false claim.The laptop was received in good packaging and very clean. Almost new condition.I plugged the laptop in and decided to let it charge for about an hour to charge up the batteries before doing any powering up and setting up Windows10 on the system. After an hour I went ahead and powered it up for the first time with the power cable still plugged in. I was able to go through the entire Windows10 set up process getting my account set up completely. While in the process of running windows update 30 minutes later the system suddenly started to beep with low battery notifications. I finally noticed that the charging indicator icon was not active and the laptop was not charging at all. I tested the power cord and did not find any problems with it. I used another same-type charger from my work laptop and that too does not work with this laptop. I ran some Dell diagnostics with the remaining power left in the batteries and it shows that the system does not recognize any chargers plugged in or the system is not receiving any power when plugged in. After further troubleshooting the problem, it appears that the charging port is completely defective. The different cables I plugged into the charging port felt extremely loose and unable to make a proper connection.As of this writing the laptop is now completely drained of power from the batteries and there is no way for me to perform a factory reset to wipe all my personal information from the system. This makes me very uncomfortable returning it for a refund or replacement. I feel like the only option I have is to find a local computer repair shop that can repair hardware like the power port on this system.I don't think I will be buying anything marked as "refurbished" or "renewed"This was a very bad experience overall.

Update: I contacted the company/seller of this laptop, and I told them the issue. They asked if I was comfortable with installing a new battery (which I was). They sent out a brand new battery and a brand new Dell charger (which came quickly after the holidays). This fixed the issue with no other problems so far!I bought this laptop as a Christmas gift for my son (first computer). He was excited to use it, got it all set up, and started playing around on it. Less than an hour later, the battery was dead. No problem, just hook up the charger, right? Wrong!! Hooked up the charger and nothing happened. Ordered another charger (hopefully that is the problem), but he will not get to use his computer until 31 December. Disappointed nine year old! Hopefully, the 31st will solve all of the problems, and we will be happy again. I must say, the computer itself was running just fine.

This is a really nice computer, that looks like new. We really liked the touch screen and backlit keyboard. Unfortunately, the graphics card wasn't sufficient for some of my husbands programs, such as Fusion 360, so we had to return it and get a a computer with a dedicated graphics card.After retuning the computer, Regadget quickly refunded our money. Several days later, Regadget notified me that they had received another package with windshield wipers that we had returned to Amazon, that was mistakenly sent to them. Regadget went out of their way to get the correct address for the windshield wipers, and then sent them to the correct location so that we received the proper refund for them. I am very impressed with Regadget and highly recommend them for their professionalism. They definitely go the extra mile to help their customers!
