I don't usually leave reviews but Firmolux's product and customer service are fantastic. I only have my first coat on but will post a picture after burnishing. Grisello (and rest of the company's plaster) are pure, imported from Italy, with zero VOCs. Aside from product quality, I accidentally ordered microprimer instead of a second gallon of Grisello. Anthony (even though it was after hours) talked with me about the process and shipped another Grisello out today. Seamless. Venetian plaster is a challenging project, and to have someone explain exactly what to do with the exact product one is using is invaluable. Lastly, Firmolux has a tutorial for plaster application. Highly recommend.

This is great primer for the job. It goes a long way and makes the Venetian plaster stick for a even application

It really, actually matters that you use this type of primer (with minerals like quartz) before you Venetian plaster a wall, especially with grassello which is smooth! I was a skeptic too. Unfortunately trial and error and science prevailed.

The primer arrived with no label, no instructions, and it looked like someone just dumped a bunch of stuff in a small container. Suffice to say I won’t be using it because I’m not even sure it’s primer.

Don't skimp on the primer. Glad I got this quality stuff.
