sheet of plywood gouged my shin, about the size of a silver dollar. took out all three layers of skin. this is what the nurse at the hospital used, gave me 2 pads of it. daily I could tell more had healed time came for me to buy some, I cheaped out.. its all the same ... Right! wrong... the healing stopped with the less expensive wound dressing. I gave it a go, it didn't work in the end I bought the expensive dressing... the healing is almost done.

It is a great product but i'm such an idiot that i didn't realize that one box cost $126. I thought they were going to send me one every month for a year. My wound utilizes 8 4x4 each changing. My insurance put my supplies on hold a month ago and I can see why. All the other product stick to the wound at times and make a big mess.This put a real dent in my wound care budget and my self confidence..

Just what the doctor ordered. Used to treat open ulcers. A bit pricey but it does contain silver which makes this so. Helps generate healing of wounds.

Thank you for selling these on Amazon. My 84 year old mother had a terrible wound and needed these specifically according to her Dr. So.. long story short...insurance was not helpful....but I ordered these 3 weeks before she received her insured supply. And we lived happy ever after.
