Color Depositing Mask, 6.7 Fl. Oz

This is a fantastic temporary dye. It hydrates your hair while giving you a new fun color. Little fragrance, easy to use. If you are blonde this product makes a huge impact on your complexion. I am naturally blonde and it darkened my hair enough that I looked washed out. I also don’t wear a ton of makeup. I have sensitive skin and this product doesn’t give me a reaction. Lasts 2 weeks + with full color. Fades for another 2 weeks.

Let me tell you how this wonderful mask saved my hair and saved me some major embarrassment on a Vegas trip. Note: even good stylists can make mistakes or forget to warn you about potential interactions between treatments. I am naturally a medium/dark brunette but had been getting balayage highlights for years so my hair was almond blonde. I decided to go back to brunette with caramel highlights. My stylist darkened my hair to a medium brunette which was a little lighter than I wanted but it looked fine. The next day I came back for the highlights and keratin treatment and when I left the salon I noticed my hair was even lighter and had a red hue and the highlights looked orange. I knew after the keratin I couldn’t wash for 3 days and couldn’t color for 2 weeks so I thought I would just wait and see what it looked like after I washed my hair, which happened to be the day my husband and I left for a Vegas weekend. After much research I realized that keratin treatments can lift your hair color and mine tends to pull red/orange, oops, I wish my stylist had thought of this and she left a couple days after my treatment for vacation. I ordered this product and a green conditioner to try and temporarily remedy the situation, and after washing on Friday morning my hair had not improved so I tried the green conditioner first to remove the red hue. To my horror, it tinted my hair green. It’s not supposed to do that. I then washed my hair twice with a clarifying sulfate shampoo (not good for keratin but I was desperate) and it didn’t really help. With just a few hours before our flight, I decided to try this product in Coco because I knew it had pigments of yellow, green, and red which would hopefully cover and balance out the green. I sectioned my damp hair and left on for 15 minutes and rinsed. Immediately better but my roots still looked a little orange so I did a shadow root technique, left on for another 15 minute, and rinsed. Omg. My hair looks so much better, smelled nice, and was soft and shiny. My husband, who had seen the green hair and was very skeptical when I told him I could fix it, was shocked when he got home. He loved the color and so did I. It was a tad darker than I expected but still looked very nice and it has been lightening up very slightly with each wash and still looks great. I even had a stranger come up to me in Vegas and compliment my hair color and say she is going back to brunette from blonde and is trying to achieve my exact color. I told her my secret. Anyway, to summarize: this product smells nice, is quick and easy to use, fades nicely, made my hair soft, and gave me a beautiful chocolate brown that my hairdresser couldn’t. This is amazing! I use the Coco color. I hope they never discontinue it. The color is absolutely beautiful on brunettes and sometimes I just use it on the ends of my hair if it's looking fried and it brings the brunette right back. SO PRETTY COLOR!, and all you do is I just leave it on in the shower while I'm shaving . It's not cheap but by it. Definitely worth every penny

First image is the before, and 2nd one is after. Not very effective with color depositing. I applied the product on towel dried hair, and left on for about 15 minutes and rinsed with cool water. I blow dried on medium heat. My hair felt incredibly moisturized, soft and detangled. I love the smell! The color change was very subtle and not really noticable in the pictures. It toned down some of the gold colors a bit, and wish it had toned it more. I will probably purchase purple toning drops and make my own formula. Took a star off for the value. My Hair type is long hair, thinned with under-shave, and I used 90% of the bottle. Pricey for $30 single use.

I used this one a week and my hair (copper dark brown) has been maintained it’s color well! Might stain your bath tub tho hehehe

Easy to use, conditions pretty well, non-greasy, ineffective gray coverage (though tbf it's not meant to be opaque). The copper version over graying hair treated with a honey/caramel permanent color turns out a truly shimmery copper, so kind of a fun temporary shade. The champagne color seems to not be available anymore, which is too bad because it perks up graying hair nicely. Definitely wear gloves for applying, as it will otherwise dye your nail bed and nails.

I recently dyed my hair from blonde to medium brown after dealing with iron deficiency/ weight loss related hair loss and breakage. I could no longer continue to weaken my already fragile hair with bleach. Because my hair was so damaged it was extremely pourous and I’d lose a lot of my color within 2 weeks of getting it done. Now that my hair has improved quite a bit , color is lasting much better but I find that by week 3-4 I miss that “deep , just left the salon color”. I tried this on a whim and holy moly I am so impressed. Hair prep before application is important if you want even color that lasts. What you wash your hair with will dictate the results. My holy grail detox shampoo that is color safe is Loreal metal detox. You want your hair to be a clean slate before applying this- no product buildup or hard water minerals. I’m convinced this worked so well because I washed with that shampoo before application. I rinsed with cold water and squeezed out the excess water from my hair. I was impressed with how little of this I really needed. I have shorter hair and was able to get a nice even application with a quarter size of product. I thought I would need more but it spreads like butter in the hair. I then used a wide tooth comb and combed my hair making sure it was evenly distributed. I put a shower cap on my head to keep my head warm and left the product on for 10 mins which was perfect. I rinsed with cold water to seal the cuticle and was shocked that the water was clear when I rinsed- I expected the water to be the color of the pigment but my hair drank it up. I was so impressed with how soft my hair was after this mask. It was the perfect light weight hydration without making my hair look heavy. The end result of the color was nearly identical to what it was when I got it done. I didn’t mention to my husband that I did this and he noticed right away and said it looked great. I don’t wash my hair everyday but I do wet it with cold water and condition and the color has lasted several days already. The tube is a good size so it will last me several months using it once a week in between my hair appointments. I will continue to repurchase this. This is a rare product that truly blows me away with the results. It made my hair look so shiny and smooth as well. $30 is pricey but with how it performed for my hair I will absolutely keep repurchasing this!

I’m starting to get grey hairs and this unfortunately doesn’t cover them, but I purchased it again anyways because of how great it makes my hair look. It makes my hair just a bit darker, while keeping my natural highlights. It also makes my hair smooth, shiny, and healthy looking. Doesn’t stain my skin or fingernails.

Gives colour to already coloured hairs. Will fade away after 3-4 washes

It didn't quite work for me, I have many gray hairs so I wanted my brown hairs to get slightly darker, but it didn't make any difference.

Wow just wow! During lockdown with all hairdressers shut I was at a loss with my blonde hair with root and greys :( I took to this product as I had seen a review on it and thought I would get it a go and as pink is my favourite colour I thought why not. I used this product and mixed with my own hair mask, left it on for 20mins and rinsed out. I was amazed with the results! So what started with fun with my hair due to boredom turned out amazing. I have had so many lovely comments off work colleagues, family, friends etc that I feel this is now my new hair look, the pink will stay for now :) The colour fades a little after each wash. I tend to top up every 2 weeks and it brings it back to what it was before. 1 tube lasts me atleast 3 uses and I have long hair. Leaves my hair feeling soft, shiny and healthy. I cannot recommend thus product enough!! I will definitely purchase again and for £28 its a bargain! Cheaper then a trip to the hairdressers!!!

Pour moi le meilleur des masques repigmentant et pourtant j'en ai testé Il est certes cher plus que certains mais au final pas besoin d'en mettre beaucoup et surtout il tient dans la durée En plus laisse les cheveux incroyablement doux Et au niveau de la couleur c'est le meilleur repigmentant brun que j'ai testé, un magnifique chocolat noir profond et plein de reflets
