Great mug to use with mug warmer.
I like these coffee mugs to use with a mug warmer. I bought the white mug first and I liked it so much, I bought the black one. The mugs are easy to pick up with nice size handles. So far, the color hasn’t chipped off or faded. One thing to note, and this may be due to the warmer I use is to put the cup on the warmer while it’s hot, if I do, my coffee stays hot. If I wait until my coffee cools some before placing it on the warmer, it takes time to heat up again. Also, I dropped the lids to my mugs right after I got them and they both broke. So I use silicone lids. As long as I keep the mug with the silicone lid on the warmer, my drinks stay VERY hot. The only thing I would change about the mugs is to make them a little larger. I would recommend them to anyone using a mug warmer. They’re great.

NOT A FLAT BOTTOM CUP
Kript Flat Bottom Ceramic Mug with Aluminum Plate - This is not a flat bottom cup. It has a concave bottom! The aluminum plate only makes contact with the outside rim of the bottom of the cup. Works about the same as any concave bottom cup. I could not understand why this cup did not work any better than my regular flat bottom cups until the aluminum rim fell off revealing a huge glob of glue that the aluminum plate actually rested on. The aluminum plate actually has an open pocket between it and the bottom of the concave cup. I never put the cup in water as I was concerned about getting the wooden handle wet. I would rinse the cup, wipe it out and dry it carefully. The aluminum plate dropped off. I picked up the plate and glued it back on to the huge glob of glue that was initially holding the plate in place. I decided that this cup was not as advertised and returned it for a full refund. Had to repackage and take it to the UPS Office. Cup not recommended.

Great for keeping coffee hot!
My wife bought me a mug warmer awhile back but it never worked with any of my mugs. I'd been searching for a mug with a flat bottom and I found this one that not only is flat but metal and conducts the heat! This mug in tandem with my mug warmer plate kept a cup of coffee hot for 3 hours (I tended to forget to drink my coffee at work and waste multiple cups). The lid aids in keeping the temperature more than I thought just be careful removing the lid as the warm air condensates and will spill on your desk if not carefule. This stirrer is a nice addition and solidly made of metal. The only downside is that the mug can be hot to the touch, specifically on the lips when drinking. But I'd attribute this more to my warmer than the mug.Solid product!

Be Careful
It works well keeping coffee warm, but be real careful not to touch the metal plate on the bottom before it cools. I'd guess that every buyer, including me, will burn themselves at least once. Also, you can warm up your coffee in the microwave for 10 or 15 seconds, but any more will make the handle too hot to touch.

The aluminum disc separated from the mug. Rats!
This mug is almost perfect. The quality of the ceramic mug is excellent. I even like the wooden handle. Thanks to the Amazon seller, it was delivered on Feb. 3, 2023. Very quick turnaround. However, On Feb. 5, 2023, the aluminum heating disc on the bottom of the mug separated while maintaining the coffee's heat temperature. I was so disappointed. I only used the mug once before the disc separated from the ceramic mug. My only question is to the manufacturer, what heat-resistant glue was used to adhere the aluminum disc to the ceramic mug?

Keeps coffee HOT HOT HOT- So happy with this cup! Do Not hesitate!
I had been disappointed with my coffee warmer that I go for my office- they didn't seem to keep my coffee warm enough. This AMAZING cup has a metal base on it to conduct heat from warmer (Mr. Coffee) to the coffee in the cup.The stoneware of the mug is thin so it conducts the heat well; and the matching stoneware cover keeps the warmth in.It starts hot and stays hot- I have not tried to warm cold coffee yet- I always start with warm. I wash by hand because of the base and DON'T PUT IT IN THE MUCROWAVE! I didn't but I bet someone has!Now I want one a little larger this holds about 16 oz.

I wanted so bad to love these - but I don't
I ordered two and wanted so bad to love these. However, they do not perform like I would have expected.Pro - Does have a flat bottomCon - inside stains easily. I have other grocery store cups that have never stained. Yes, I wash twice a day with soap.Con - The bottom scratches my desk.Pro and Con - On a warmer set to 230 degrees Fahrenheit, my coffee stays a warm drinkable 132 degrees Fahrenheit - with lid on.Most likely the medium that they used to secure the bottom to the cup is acting as an insulator somewhat that is keeping the heat from transferring to the cup itself. The bottom aluminum gets very hot - equal to the cup warmer in fact. I have to took the bottom off one, but I would suspect that the bottom of the actual cup before the plate is places is concave which is making an insulated air gap too (I will break one and see someday).Overall - I would not buy again. My $2.00 mug from Wally keeps the coffee the same temp all day. Very sad. I really wanted these to work.

Nice looking black ceramic mug. Niceties end there
Finally a warmer mug flat bottom Don’t believe it !!!!!!! Only in theory.Pro : Was excited to receive, ceramic intact!Cons: Bamboo lid moldy and green- small awkward handle . Anyone with larger hands would be out of luck.Used once, coffee did not really get or stay hotterBut then disaster: The metal plate fell off while rinsing it clean, sink soap and water because handle is raw bamboo, it is not finished with a protective coating.Only to discover the only thing holding the plate on was a large dime size dab of glue. Induction heating would not be possible through this glob of glue The glued plate was not or barely touching the non flat bottom mug underneath plate. The only thing that made this a flat bottom mug was the plate. Returned.
