High Sierra Loop Backpack, Travel, or Work Bookbag with tablet sleeve, One Size, Aquamarine/White/Ash

I love these bags, this is my second one.My first lasted 5 years of much abuse in rain, forrests, beaches, fishing trips, travel. I love them as they have plenty of good pockets, well spaced, the water bottle pocket streches. The inside has some separators that are handy along with key hooks etc. All this and yet its still light and easy to carry and very resistant. The only reason I got a new one is that the zips started not closing well, but given the amount of abuse the bag as had I didn't hesitate in buying another!

If you want to have a number of these backpacks to go with what you are wearing, they are cheap enough to buy many. You will not find another backpack with these unique designs. Durability This backpack is made from strong materials, which allows you to put heavy items in without a risk of tearing. When you buy a backpack, you want one that will be reliable. You can use this backpack with heavy books and it will still last. This backpack is made from 100% polyester, which shows you the strength of it. My only complaint would be that the fabric attached to the zippers fray, but the zippers are still functional. This backpack has water resistant properties too. Reliability is something you should take in consideration when choosing a backpack. Spacious Pockets This backpack has a great design with the numerous spacious pockets, and the water bottle holders on the side. Instead of carrying your water bottle, you can put it on the side of your backpack. This is something you will find extremely useful. The pockets are also great to have since you have many to become organized with. You can separate items instead of having to search through one pocket for everything you need. Spacious pockets, and water bottle holders are what you should be taking in consideration when choosing a backpack. Great Product You will not find a better backpack for this great of a price. This backpack has great fashion with the many unique styles offered, and has a great design with reliability. This is a great backpack for a kid that has to carry a ton of books. It's a large size that fits a ton. It's comfortable to wear abs a great color! Price was reasonable.

At first I wasn't sure how I would like this backpack because there are so many added hooks, loops, and dangles to get caught on things and I wasn't sure I would use them for a daily use computer bag. Now that I've used it every day for a month, I love it! Here are my pros and cons: Cons: 1. The reason this bag gets four stars instead of five is the inadequate padding in the main computer pocket. I feel uncomfortable setting my back down upright with a computer inside because there is essentially nothing in the bottom of the bag to protect the laptop. I wish I had removed the padding from my old computer bag before I recycled it. 2. The pockets overall are a little bit smaller than I prefer. Particularly the front-most pocket that contains all the organizers - it doesn't zip open far enough to be able to use the organizers comfortably. 3. The fabric looks a little bit cheap. It's very structurally sound, but it just doesn't LOOK sturdy. Pros: 1. Organization! I wasn't sure I would like all the dangly bits, and some of them still don't get used. But I LOVE having the various smaller pockets throughout the bag. I put my water bottle in one side mesh pocket and a small umbrella in the other. I have my feminine supplies at easy reach in the small top center pocket, and I use the second small pocket to hold pens, a few dollars, and chapstick - the other things I might need quickly. The cell phone pocket on the strap is a little small for my phone case, though I can just squeeze it in. However, let's be honest, I'm usually using my cell phone on the subway when I'm commuting anyway. The pocket is GREAT, though, for holding tissues during cold season and hosting a group of hairbands that I can use when the subway gets too crowded or the internal temperature is really badly aligned with the changing of the seasons outdoors. If you have a phone bigger than an iphone 5, you may have a tough time using the cell phone pocket the way it's intended. 2. Good suspension. The straps are extremely comfortable and can be adjusted easily. I find the bag doesn't rub on my clothing when I have to walk longer distances, unlike some other bags I've tried. 3. The clip on the front center can be used to hold another bag (like a canvas shopping bag) if you need to carry something while keeping your hands free. I wouldn't attach something that weighed more than a few pounds, but it has held up to everything so far. In short, this bag works for me! I just recommend being careful when you set it down with your laptop inside. That's probably a good habit to be in anyway.

We originally purchased this backpack a little over 3 years ago for my son for school. He has put it through 3 school years, he has dropped it, tossed it, thrown it, loaded it with more crap then any kid should ever have to carry at school and it just kept surviving! It held up to carrying a computer, 3 thick school books, 5-6 composition books, 6 folders plus all the small crap like pens, pencils, glue etc. This really has been a great backpack. It is well made.. the only down side is the strap did finally give out. BUT because of how long it last after all it was put through we are purchasing another one for this year that should get him through his last 3 years of school!! I would highly recommend this!! It has plenty of space for everything, is well made and comes in lots of colors!!

This is my everyday high school backpack. I carry around like 30 pounds worth of books and this bag has lasted all year without any rips or tears. It’s a pretty large backpack and can fit plenty of books inside. The zippers open and close easily. It has lots of pockets and is very accessible.

I bought two of these for my fourth grade twin boys. The most important feature for me at their age is durability, as they are hard on everything. This is a high quality, durable, and versatile backpack that can be used for bigger elementary school kids to adults. There is one large main pocket, a secondary pocket, and a few smaller pockets that are great for snacks, earphones, pencil pouches, etc. There is also a side pocket that hold a water bottle on both sides. This backpack can easily fit a laptop or a lunchbox. The only downside I can see with this backpack is if you are using it for a smaller kid and you have to adjust the straps so they are all the way up, the excess strap hangs down. It has no where to go or nothing to secure it. I improvised by using rubber bands to keep the excess straps from hitting the back of their legs. Overall I would highly recommend this backpack and would purchase it again as a replacement a few years from now or as an additional backpack for work or outdoor use.

If I could award zero stars...I'd give negative 10. The backpack has no bottom padding for the tablet sleeve, so if it drops, your device is going to hit without cushioning. The mesh pockets for water bottles are as frail as spider webs. I used one side (fewer than a dozen times) and a large hole that will only continue to tear resulted. On the other bottle pocket, the mesh was separating from the seam, without ever being used, but this is my fault according to High Sierra. I submitted this for warranty repair but HS does not cover their flimsy material and bad sewing, they just put it onto the consumer as 'wear and tear' and decline to repair or replace. I have another much older High Sierra backpack with better padding for devices, but a raggedy bottle pocket that they will not repair under warranty, of course. I prefer to continue using that one over this one, which is made so cheaply and is less protective for a device. HS could make the bottle pockets from the same polyester canvas as the bag, but they use crappy mesh that will definitely rip or separate from the seam, making them useless. The best part is they offered me a 10% then a 20% discount to buy ANOTHER one of their lousy bags. No thanks. Won't be buying any more of their products and advise others to steer clear as well.

This is the perfect bag for my first grader. Countless compartments/pockets for all her stuff plus winter gear & toys she sneaks to school. The quality is good too, reenforced water bottle pockets so no rips. I’m not sure how the shoulder straps work but they are well supported and very comfortable. I will only be purchasing high sierra bags moving forward.
