A further compilation of Sir Douglas Quintet/Doug Sahm tracks from his Swedish Sonet label releases in the 80's. (Shares only two tracks with the 2008 "Scandinavian Years" compilation). A real bonus is the very rare "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" with Flaco Jimenez. Excellent liner notes by Mats Ollson tell the story of Sahm's move to Sweden, subsequent success and other stories including Springteen's attempts to meet him. This CD is actually the track listing from a cassette compiled by Lennert Persson of Sahms "best stuff from the Eighties", and handed out to those he thought would be interested. It contains all the styles Sahm played, Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Country, and Tex-Mex.
