14 Inch 16:10 Laptop Privacy Screen Filter - Computer Monitor Privacy Shield and Anti-Glare Protector

This thing is great. I swear it went on so smooth that I've had people just ask me why I'm looking at a dark screen until they move directly behind me. The edges are nearly invisible when you use the double sided tape that comes with it. It absolutely keeps things hidden without sacrificing the profile of my laptop. It fit my laptop PERFECTLY, so be sure to double check the dimensions of your screen and it should fit well. It was so easy to install (and I may have kept the little microfiber cloth for my glasses afterward).

Originally I had ordered the wrong size for my computer screen - It was my fault as I got the measurements wrong. I had received the screen protector and saw a message that said call us and we will send you out a new one, and so I did and Kate was the sweetest!!!!!!!!! She did not make me feel bad, she asked for my measurements and was able to locate the perfect size and it the new one fits like a glove. THANK YOU KATE E.

Update: 1/11: After the adhesive fell off in my initial review, I opted to reattach the privacy filter with the matte side out to prevent it from getting more scratched up. The anti-glare is really nice, though the privacy filter is less effective when that side is facing out. Mostly it just blurs the screen a bit and makes it seem slightly darker when viewed from the side.However, the main reason I'm updating this review is because today I unexpectedly received a package from SightPro's Customer Service Manager that included a replacement for the 14.1" privacy screen I initially ordered, as well as a second 13.3" filter that he suggested might fit better with on laptop. He included some additional adhesives and a personalized letter with some tips and suggestions for making the filter more effective. I was thoroughly surprised to receive this package as I had not even reached out to their customer support, but I'm beyond thrilled. Literally just last night I was debating prying off my second attempt at the adhesive to switch sides again, but I didn't want to risk further damaging the filter. Now, I have a second chance at applying it. I've never had a customer service experience like this, so I'm a bit amazed. Truly wonderful.One thing I noticed is that my laptop keyboard has been leaving outlines of the keys on the privacy filter when I close it. If you're also having issues with scuffs and failing adhesive, it might be worth sticking some adhesive foam pads on your laptop so that the screen doesn't press down on the keyboard as much when closed. That should help both with keeping the adhesive from loosening, as well as protecting the filter from getting scuffed up and scratched.Original Review:Based on measurements, I opted for this 14.1" 16:10 privacy screen, even though I have a 13.3" laptop. I previously tried a 13.3" filter that ended up being too short, and I figured I wanted some extra overhang to make up for the cutout tab as well as the adhesive.I purchased this filter as a courtesy because I work from home doing content moderation and wanted to help obscure my screen to prevent the other people in my house from being subjected to the sometimes questionable, occasionally disturbing content I might have on my screen while working. If someone is sitting next to me, I think the filter adequately darkens and blurs the content of my screen such that someone would have to be intentionally studying the screen to figure out what is going on. Obviously, it won't help at all if someone is standing directly in front of the computer, but for incidental glances it's more than adequate.However, the plastic tabs that are included with this filter are *terrible.* I put two on each side and two on the bottom, and all of the tabs have already fallen off once since last night. I closed my laptop this morning and opened it this afternoon to find that enough of the clips had fallen off that the filter was loose in my laptop. When I went to re-attach the clips and slide the filter back in, I noticed that the filter has huge scuff marks and lines of scratches going all the way down that I am not thrilled about. If it looks this bad in less than a day, I can't imagine this filter lasting a reasonable amount of time. I didn't even have my laptop in a bag or anything, it's been sitting stationary on my table this whole time.

I ordered the wrong size for my laptop and emailed sightpro directly. Kate E. helped me immediately and I got the correct size within the week. I was happily surprised that the promise of exchange was kept, no hassle, no shaming for mistakes. I would definitely order from them again and the support staff at sighpro is excellent

Updated reviewI have switched my 1 ⭐️ to 5 ⭐️ because the customer service is AWESOME!!! They reached out to me fixed the issue. I personally would lean towards a magnetic one but if you don’t mind it being stickers instead of a magnet this is the one to order and the company is awesome.I bought a privacy screen protector for my Mac and loved it cause it stays on perfect. So when I ordered this one I figured they worked the same NOOOOOOOO they do not this one I purchased for my HP it is a complete waste cause it just falls off constantly which makes for embarrassing teams meetings and makes it hard to complete anything having to constantly fix this after it keeps falling down. UPDATE AT END.I saw average rating and ordered without researching more. Or looked for videos of others setting it up because the whole process was redic. From peeling apart the double sided "tape" that essentially is the most important part since it doesn't use magnets, the little strip of this stuff is so important yet given little attention to produce.Also, you should label each side with either "glossy" or "matte", so deciding what side we want should end there. We should not have to spend 5 minutes figuring out which side is which, cuz there are no labels, and they are similar to each other. So that was fun.I suggest scrapping the entire product and switching to magnets. Keep the money, use it for research and product development.UPDATE: I did not expect to see other people saying the same thing that I'm about to say, but without me asking for a replacement, I left a bad review and out of nowhere I received a new product in the mail free of charge. I have received the magnetic version which I did not know they had, not only that I was given a letter addressed top me explaining the situation. It was signed by the customer service manager, Tim Lee, and I want to personally say thank you to him and for them to do something like this without me asking them to tells me a lot about the people that work for this company and the people in charge are awesome, thoughtful, and they are honest and to be so transparent for all that I am thankful.
