Wow! The Qi -enabled charging is pretty magical. I actually didn’t know it existed until I upgraded my phone (iPhone 6s->iPhone 11...big jump 🙂)This works great for the newer phones that have the Qi charging capabilities. I didn’t know how great it would be since I seemed to always need my 6s plugged in even while browsing social media because my battery was just draining. Turns out these newer phones have much longer lasting batteries. If you are streaming music or movies you may need to charge more than just at night but either way this works great. It lets you know right away that charging is happening (I mean, who has had their phone plugged in for hours “charging” only to find it wasn’t pushed in all the way so never charged? Can’t be just me!). The light around the base turns green as soon as it recognizes a Qi-enables phone and just starts charging right away. If it’s not Qi-enabled the light will just blink as if searching but feeling like something is there.Just a note, if you have a pop socket, this won’t work through the thickness of the socket. If you use a magnetic phone holder where you put a metal disk between your phone and case, the Qi-charger also will not work. But otherwise this will work great for thicker otter box style cases as long as you don’t have add one like the pop socket or metal plate.There is an insert with the charger that says Qi-charging is slower than wired charging but if you use the included wall adapter the charging is at 10W (for Samsung) or 7.5W (for iPhone). Not sure what that means except it gets faster if you use the included wall adapter rather than just one of the million white iPhone blocks you have lying around the house.Overall, I’m very impressed. Fast enough charging for me and no worrying about worn and broken cords constantly needing to be replaced. Very pleased with my purchase.

First before purchasing, make sure your exact phone is listed as a phone that works with this charger.Next, there are some phone cases that may need to be removed from the phone so it will charge.We have two Iphones and one is in an extra durable two piece hard case but this still chargesthe phone but I know there are instances where the case is an issue. I love that this chargerturns green around the base so you know you have placed your phone on perfectly and that it is charging.I am just so happy with our purchase here. Our Iphone was not connecting to our cord charger to chargeand we were talking about having to purchase another phone which we did not want to do, howeverthis wireless charger fixed the issue and our phones are charging perfectly. Great buy and value.

Ordered this after reviewing a lot of similar products. A big plus that it was bundled with the right power adapter. Clear directions, simple set up. Easy to position phone, with the light ring confirming proper placement. Appreciate the compact size. Phone stays put, charges relatively quickly, and no more stressing over direct cable connection failing. Excellent value for price.Wish we’d ordered long before this!

Product over all was wonderful. It charges the phone quickly and is pretty stylish looking on my desk. The product lights up green to let you know it is charging your phone but the light itself isn't overly bright and is only lit for about a second or two. Over all it works and does exactly what it says and I would recommend this product.My only complaint is the length of the cord it comes it. The cord is barely 3ft long which is okay if your night stand is only 2 foot and directly in front of a wall socket. Unless you have miniature furniture in your home, this cord is worthless. I had to purchase a 5ft cord so I could use the item on my work desk.To be fair the product description does say it comes with 3ft but its one of those things that you kind of overlook or don't fully understand how incredibly short that is when speaking about a product that has to stay plugged in.

A few years back I purchased our first charging pad from a major brand name and was pretty happy with it until it stopped charging my iPhone but continued to charge my husband's iPhone (purchased both at the same time, same model too). Flash forward about six months later and it wouldn't charge his either. After reading a lot of reviews here on Amazon, I saw similar problems with this brand that other customers were having. It's a shame because this well know company makes excellent surge protectors and other electronics, but not pad chargers.I also started looking at other brands and reading those reviews. This charger and the company that sells them seems to do an excellent job according to the reviews, so we gave it a shot and have had it for a few weeks now and we're impressed! It charges a lot faster than our other one ever did. It also has a smaller footprint and a glowing green light to let you know your phone has started charging.We also like that it has everything you need to get it going. Instructions and pictures were well thought out, but putting it together and plugging it in isn't that hard to figure out. We could have used a slightly longer usb cable, but we managed to switch a few other things around and everything is humming along just fine.We'll see if it lasts as long as the national brand one did, which was about 2.5 years. The thought that went into this unit is very appreciated, as was the speedy shipping and thoughtful packaging. This one is definitely worth checking into and giving it a chance.
