A godsend for curly and kinky hair!
The bad reviews of this product blow my mind. This product is specifically for very curly to kinky hair, which by its very nature is incredibly dry and coarse. Using this on straight to wavy hair will OF COURSE make your hair look very greasy and/or limp... because you don’t actually have curly hair and don’t need that amount of added moisture. That being said, if you have super curly or kinky hair, this product is a LIFESAVER. My hair soaks it up like a sponge and it really helps keep my hair looking much healthier. My hair never looks greasy with this co-wash either, and after a few days of not washing it, it actually starts looking dry again. There is no residue, no “grease”, no limp hair... just reduced frizz and a head full of curls that finally look somewhat moisturized. And when I finally wash my hair again, my hair once again soaks it up and feels nicer again. I usually pair it with Shea Moisture conditioner and a good leave-in conditioner too. I even love the smell! I can’t say enough good things about this stuff!

re: my go to shampoo for 3 C curls
I have dry hair, curly hair, colored hair and I love this shampoo, it is so conditioning I use it more than any shampoo I own and I don't have to use conditioner with it, if I am in a hurry especially or on road trips it works great, I love my wash and go curls, I use some styling product and let it air dry or I defuse it with my hair dryer if i need to as well.

Naturally clean & fresh
I wash my hair twice a week once with Aveda's purple shampoo ( embraced my silver 6+ yrs ago) and cowash the other . Cowash is creamy like a conditioner, but does not weigh your hair down.My hair has so much more body . You know how clean hair just doesn't style well .NEVER the case with co wash .Because it doesn't strip your hair of natural oils nor does it coat your hair making it heavy & flat. Coukd use it daily if you wish. AND NO conducting needed ( and my hair is on the dryer side side)

Helps Preserve Moisture
Recently realized I have fairly curly hair, this product has been my first co-wash and I like the way it leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny. Don’t love the smell, smells a bit like natural bug repellent.

Does not control frizz for my fine, wavy/curly hair
I tried using this a couple of times after my stylist used the Curl Enhancer on my hair. I feel it does moisturize my hair well, but almost to the point of weighing it down and it seems to cause frizz. I definitely don't need conditioner on my hair after using this; however, my hair is frizzy from the Be Curly products (I have to follow up with the control paste mixed with the smoothing liquid). I've been wearing my hair wavy/curly for awhile now and other curly hair products control my frizz better than this line of products. I feel it does enhance some of my waves/curls while weighing down other parts of my hair. The next day after using this stuff, my curls are gone and my hair is flattened waves. Also, I am not a fan of the scent of the Be Curly products at all. I've read a lot of reviews raving about it, but I actually found it repulsive the first few times using the product line. The only one that smells good to me is the control paste (which is not Be Curly). I think my hair is 2c. Partly waves, some kinky curls. If anyone has product/s suggestion, please leave a comment on my review.

Great co-wash
I have naturally curly hair and use a leave-in conditioner, curl creme and a finishing pomade every day. However, I also color my hair and have hair that tends to run on the dryer side of the spectrum so I do not shampoo my hair everyday. I usually only use shampoo and conditioner once to twice a week...the other times I just scrub my scalp in the shower. I love the addition of Aveda's Co-Wash, which I use once or twice a week between scrubbing and shampooing. It helps control product buildup in my hair without stripping my hair's natural oils. Since adding it to my regimen my curls are shinier and I am using less shampoo.
