DIY POLKA DOT WALL
I purchased this product along with some shiny copper contact paper for a DIY home project. I wanted to make a polka-dot wall, but was outraged at how expensive pre-made dot decals cost. DON'T BUY THEM! Using this cutter you can make circles in whatever color or pattern you choose for an instant upgrade to any wall-space! The cutter works beautifully, although it seems to create tears and shreds in thin papers. Make sure you press down firmly and cut around your circle many times to make sure the blade has gone all the way through. DO NOT CUT ON DELICATE SURFACES because the blade will go right through to your table, floor, etc.. I suggest using a piece of cardboard underneath.

Watch out! These blades are super sharp! Used this cutter to make paper garlands for a party, and had to cut hundreds of circles out of thick colored paper. At first the plastic shaft that holds the blades kept bending and breaking on me, but it turns out i was pushing way too hard when cutting. I ordered 2 sets of replacement blades just in case but once i got the hang of it i didn't bend another blade. The top does tend to unscrew after you cut a bunch of circles, but this was a pretty minor annoyance considering the time this thing saved me. Took only seconds per circle! Very worth it for big craft projects!

QUALITY PRODUCT
I haven't really used this yet but I have done a few practice circles with it and feel it will work properly when I do go to use it. But I must comment on the quality of Martha Stewart craft items. I have bought a few of her items in the past and am always impressed with how well made they are. Heavy duty plastic, heavy metal in items, and no rough corners to catch on something. My feeling is always buy a Martha Stewart craft item (if available) over any other brand because I know it will stand up to heavy use and will not break at first use.

Great idea that comes up short
I have now had this circle cutter for over a year. While at first I might have rated this tool four stars I have since found several design flaws and I wanted to inform potential customers of them. 1. The blades are supposed to store in the spinning mechanism area of the cutter but they don't stay in their spot tucked away and always end up rattling around in there. The handles to "hold" the blades while manipulating them in to place have never stated in tact one time. Every single time I need a blade change I have to risk cutting my fingers. On the upside the blades last a long time and I've cut some crazy things with this tool like foam and cardboard and the blades always handle it much better then expected. The other issue is no matter which self healing mat I use these blades destroy them. There really is no safe way to cut a circle with this tool and not damage a mat underneath it. It is not sold with its own mat. So aside from the difficulty blade changing and the damage to matted surfaces the other usefulness issue I have with it is size, it's not only a bit bulky and tough to store it also doesn't cut anything small. If you want this for greeting cards it is not at all useful. I find it the most useful for kids school projects quite honestly and white it's useful that wasn't what I had wanted if for.

Where have you been all my life?
I love this product. It cuts perfect circles soO easily. You do have to press down on it firmly and also go in the circle at least 2 times to makes sure your page was all the way cut out. If you are into crafts and projects with your kids or your self - this tool is a must have. Makes life so much easier and faster rather than cutting with an exacto knife or worst scissors. Yikes! Make sure you have a glass board or some sort of craft cutting board underneath so you don't damage the blade as well as your table.

The product is very neat however it has some drawbacks and tricks. The drawbacks:1- The blades break extremely easily! They are cheaply made and absolutely anything and everything can break them. The key for it is to anytime you are not using the cutter (and I mean even if you are just switching papers) place the blade in the safe dock to avoid them to break. Also, to cut the paper (cardstock is what I have been cutting) you do not need too much pressure. Very light pressure will not cut the paper and too much pressure will break the blade, therefore you got find a medium amount of pressure to apply in order to get a good cut and keep the blade intact. A very important thing: DO NOT cut any paper if the blade is broken, this will give you uneven and smaller pieces than what you were expecting. In the positive side the blades are cheap to replace.2 - The sheath of the blade is great to protect the blade but is awful to come off! I have cut my fingers quite a few times while trying to unsheath the blade. And the cuts are no joke, they were very deep and hard to stop the bleeding. Be very careful when unsheathing the blade because it is not as easy as said in the manual and you can get hurt very easily.3 - The smallest size of circles that can make are 4", which on my opinion is a bit of a drag. I wish it could make smaller circles as well as.Besides these 3 points in the overall is a very good and neat cutter for the price.

Great versatility
I bought this to make labels that are attractive and to laminate paper labels I've printed and pasted to bottles and other containers. It is hard to find circle punches larger than 2" in diameter. When you do find them, purchasing multiple sizes can become very pricey. This works easily (once you get the hand positions going) and precisely. Just be careful of protecting your work surface. This simple tool can cut through several layers so easily you might not sense when you've cut through. Great tool.

Good Cutter
Not sure what possessed me to do circle invitations for a church function, but I was, so I bought this circle cutter. The paper we were using was thin, slightly thicker than regular printer paper, and messing up right at the end no matter how still I held the paper. I figured out that it cut perfectly with two pieces though, so overall 5 stars. A friend was helping me, and used her fiskars circle cutter. I used both and prefer this one.
