I used this with the Foldable Silicone Makeup Brush Cleaner Bowl - Etercycle Portable Cleaning Tool for Brushes, Powder Puffs, and Sponges from Amazon. It was great at cleaning my 4 concealer brushes in less than 5 minutes. Side note, I know it's wrong but I literally haven't cleaned them in years and it took it all out in less than 5 minutes.

Normally dread having to clean my makeup sponges and brushes but this seriously takes so much of the dread out and makes it so much easier when I don’t have to get hotter water and use a ton of product, works very well and very affordable, will keep buying for the foreseeable future :)

Real Techniques seems to make nice products. I have their reusable face wipes and their makeup brushes. This makeup brush cleaner is useful and small enough to store well. It has several different textures on it to get brushes clean and has a little hand grip on the back (so smart!!) in order to hold it while scrubbing your brushes. It is made of gray silicone and seems durable to me. I like this and think it is very useful.

Such a simple yet effective niche tool. I have used several times. Sometimes, simplicity just works.

This make up remover is ok, I won’t be repurchasing the gel makeup brush cleaner, but maybe I’ll try the solid brush cleaner. I tried washing some blush brushes, as they were seriously overdue for a cleaning and I had to use much more than I usually use with other brush cleaners. It didn’t lather well for the big brushes, and I ended up having to go in and manually massage the brush to get it to get the brush actually clean. I’ve never run into this problem where I had to use my hand instead of my cleaning mat with any other brush cleanser. It worked fine for eyeshadow brushes, but it seems like the longer and looser the brush, the harder it is to clean with it.
