Great carrier.
I was skeptical of this carrier because there is no snap or velcro on each pouch for retention, but decided to give it a try. The carrier itself is a thick neoprene material that has a decent hold and cushion. The neoprene material can get a little hot after hours of wear. The wool or faux wool cushion really helps the comfort when loaded with gear. Comfort is quite good and makes this carrier wearable for hours at a time. So far I have carried a Glock 27 mag and a pair cuffs in the carrier. Even though there is no locking mechanism for the top of each pocketed area I have had no issues with the mags or cuffs working loose. I have done the rare short distance running with the carrier and have had no issues with mag or cuff retention. Overall great idea, good comfort, good quality and durability seems to be holding up with almost daily use.

Very comfortable!
With the added padding they put on these, they are very comfortable. The magazine holder part is pretty tight for a Glock 19 magazine, but it works and keeps it there. I wear ankle height boots, and have big calfs, and this fits on my leg well and comfortably!

Did Not Hold Up
I bought this product less than 90 days ago. Unlike many other products, made by Gould and Goodrich, this product did not hold up. I was able to take the mild discomfort from the product because it served my needs. However, it has ripped and is no longer useable. Don’t waste your money.

updated review - 2020 7 years of using!
*** updated review January 2020. 5 STARS (changed how I used it)You can read below how I used to try to use this...honestly, it was "ok" but now it's GREAT for carrying the 2 mags I do now.I was one of the first to get a Glock 43 in my area - my gun shop owner was great to me. I won't say I haven't carried a mouse gun since the 43 came in to my life...but it's rare nowadays for sure. The 43 is a full caliber 9mm in a tiny package that I can easily carry even in a tucked in dress shirt and slacks or a suit of course. (one of those is my weekday attire)My regular - not at work - carry is a Glock 26 with a G17 mag in a Smart Carry - been that way since 2008 when I first started with my daily carry. The struggle at work was a compromise of a decent weapon if I needed it...and how to carry it comfortably all day. That struggle ended with the 43. The weapon is tiny and the mags are pretty small as well.I carry 2 mags on my off-side ankle in this Gould and Goodrich Ankle Carrier. No cuff, no light...this is just daytime, dress clothes carry...and the 25 is in my briefcase anyway... so this is just at work. The G+G ankle carrier is superb in this role. It's carrying a light load anyway, but it's easy, doesn't move, and at that end of the day...my ankle is just a tiny bit clammy...but hey, it's a great trade off to carry the extra 12 rounds for the 43. (standard factory mags, no mods) Again, to sum it up - I LOVE this and the 43 has been out what...5 years now? something like that... I will probably buy another one for the future when this one eventually wears out...but it's going strong right now.(original review from 2013)well, this is something I got 'hoping' that it might work. I have an ankle holster to marry this up with. I like having options...and wanted to have the choices available. After 2 days the inside of my ankle was raw from this. I had a small LCP mag and my Leatherman in this. The LCP on the other ankle. I took it off at the end of the 2nd day. The next day the rash came, the next day the scabbing...and now almost 2 weeks later...I'm healing almost all the way. I wore it over a full thick sock....I just have the wrong build for ankle carry I guess. That said...just like some other options I don't like but want to have available....I'm keeping it and throwing it in the box of holsters.

Works Like It's Supposed To
I've worn the carrier almost every day since I received it and so far I've had no issues. The carrier is well made and it holds cuffs and mag securely. My double stack 9mm mag was a little difficult to get in the first time but I expected it to be. It is well padded and comfortable. Can I tell I'm wearing it? Absolutely, but that is due to the weight of the cuffs/mag. After having it on for a little while I forget it's there. I haven't had to run yet while wearing the carrier so I don't know how it will do. I would recommend this carrier for anyone who wants to ankle carry their cuffs/mag. If negative issues arise I will update this review.

Says it's very convenient and comfortable. Also says the whole department wants one now
I bought this for a friend who is on a local sheriffs department, and he told me he wears it every day! Says it's very convenient and comfortable. Also says the whole department wants one now!

Only Lasted 2 Months
I purchased the ankle holster in Mid July 2020 and by Mid Sep 2020 it has already failed. The stitching on this item is not heavy duty enough to take daily wear. Additionally, the stitching through the neoprene causes weakness in the structure similar to perforated paper. Not worth the expense. On a positive note the sheepskin was comfortable and prevented the cuffs and magazine from rubbing your leg raw.

It's tight! but not in a good way....
First of all the neoprene/velcro ankle wrap holster is too small for an average build male, there was no room for adjustment and it's way too tight for wearing an extended time. Furthermore the magazine pouch will only accommodate a single stack magazine, however the handcuff compartment is more than adequate, it does a great job of securing the handcuff. From some one who has worn a concealed weapon/LEO gear for that past 20yrs for a career, it's in my opinion that it needs to be at least an inch longer for adjustment and ankle relief. It may come in different sizes, but if so I'm not aware, and it should also specify if it fits double or single stack magazines. If Gould and Goodrich would correct these two issues, it would make a for a great ankle holster.
