Orbeez - Mood Lamp

Santa brought this to my daughter this year, and she has really liked it! Just to confirm another experience that many other have written about -- it most definitely DOES light all the way to the top. You just have to put the plastic tube in the chamber before filling it up with orbeez. What's more, the LED light changes to about 6 different colors, transitioning nicely so that the lamp is really pretty in a dark room. The only negatives I would say are: 1.) the lamp runs on batteries not electricity so you can't keep it on a long time, and the expense adds up; and 2.) the plastic tube doesn't mount onto anything inside, so you have to find a way to hold it straight until you can fill the chamber with enough orbeez so that it doesn't fall to the side. Since your fingers won't fit in the chamber, this can be a little tricky. I used a knife point, but I suppose you could also use a pencil or something like that. All in all, a neat little lamp, and FINALLY -- a place to put all those orbeez once you grow them!! Ours typically ended up in the trash or on the floor! :-)

My 7 year old daughter thought this was a really neat idea so we purchased it for her orbeez. It is very light, just made of plastic but that is actually great. I would rather it be plastic than glass. The problem is that only the bottom little ball lights up, sometimes the second one lights up too. The third part up and the very top do not get any light at all. It is a really neat idea but it should have a more powerful light so that the whole thing lights up. We were disappointed a little with this because of that reason.

you don't need very many of the orbeezs to get started. we used filter water to grow these and they got the size of a penny before we put them in the lamp. just make sure that you put the stick in the lamp before you add orbeez. changes colors nicely. these little orbeez will bounce like crazy so becareful if you drop them. they don't take too much to smash them if you squeeze them a little they will smash. we let ours grow for 2days and then we put them in the lamp. they are still big and the lamp works perfectly. it's great for night when it's dark cause this little lamp makes the room light up with color. my children loves it. best of all it runs off of batteries so you don't use no electric and that's great if you are trying to go green and kids can leave it on all night. it does not get hot and it's always cool to the touch. easy on & off switch.

This a great little lamp for what I wanted. The battery life has surprises me it lasting very long when left on over nightThe only downfall I found is selection of beads I wish u could have picked mine my self and u think oh 2 packs would be enough NO!!!!! about a total 7 packs That y I say wish I could have picked the colors I wanted. But they sell refill it great mood lamp it say exactly what it does I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

My 9 year old daughter just loves this Orbeez Mood Lamp. She has enjoyed many of the Orbeez products - like the Orbeez Light Up Heart. Makes a nice night lamp and fun to have on while playing with her other toys or reading.The only thing we are not fond of is that the lamp changes from this beautiful aqua color to a maroon fizzle. The heart goes from a beautiful red to a fizzily blue too. The 2 colors are just unnecessary and don't look good alternating opposite of each other. Wish they made it in complimentary colors...Again do a search on the price of this product!!! The prices were nearly double in cost for the 'same' product but picture taken from a slightly different angle (misleading) and from the same sight! Look for free shipping too.

Now most of you buy these things for your daughters....I don't have a daughter, but I always claim I am still a kid (at middle age) I LOVE this item. I already had Orbeez developed before I received the lamp so I didn't waste any time.Lamp turns colors, red is prolly the darkest but all the other colors are bright. I received it today and filled it and decided to put it in the bathroom up high on a shelf and took a shower. This was great and I loved it. This would be good for relaxing in the bath or going to sleep. A relaxer for sure. I will be honest, I didn't even look at the Orbeez that came with the lamp, so I can't rate on them. Worth the money

Started out a cute, fun lamp for our daughter. She enjoyed soaking the balls in water.After about 4 months of light use it stopped working. When I went to change the batteries I noticed some corrosion on them and the battery compartment. I cleaned the unit as much as possible and installed brand new batteries, but it won't turn on.

My daughter absolutely loves this product and I like it too as the nightlights weren't working for her. So, I thought I try something that was a little more pretty and fun!!! I keep it on throughout the night, so it doesn't have a good battery life. I have to change the batteries once a month which seem a little to frequent but I guess if I turn it off in the middle of the night then it would last longer. UGH!!! But I'm not doing that. Also the directions called for a total of 4packages of the beedz but I had a lot left over and was unable to use them and had to throw them in the trash. So, the next time I will modify the amount. The beedz are lasting a long time...we started using this is December 2015 and we haven't had to change it yet.
