The book was in excellent condition, arrived in timely manner and was a decent price.

Love this book especially the paper on the Jews and their lies. There really isn't anything new under the sun. Every American should take the time to read it.

I recommend the Essential of Luther to all those who want to understand the real issues of the Reformation. Modern Protestantism does not know or has misrepresented its founding father. This book will give a sufficient understanding of the thought of Luther. I also recommend one read Calvin’s Institutes and the works of Jacob Arminius. Read the original works of these men, before the secondary writings of their successors. Many things get lost or reconfigured in transmission. Lastly, read and compare all things to the Scriptures.

I bought this for a class where we were heavily discussing Luther's works but also for my own reading. I grew up Lutheran so Luther's works have always been interesting. This book is a great collection that is nicely laid out. It's been very useful in my class and beyond.
