OMG! I noticed a difference right away! I have always used special (very expensive) shampoo and conditioner to get soft & shiny hair and I “thought” my hair was pretty soft but after just one shower with this filter my hair was AMAZINGLY soft to the touch. I noticed a significant difference right away and couldn’t stop playing with my hair all day. Lol! I didn’t know what I was missing! I love this shower filter and would highly recommend it to anyone. Btw...the oil rubbed bronze is beautiful and matched our rain shower head perfectly.

After 2 days with this filter I have a few thoughts to share. It looks identical to the AquaHomeGroup filter with a different finish. My previous experience was 10 years with Paragon filters installed in my showers. They were lost in a recent move so I decided to try something with better aesthetics. This one has a nice nickel-like finish.The first thing I noticed was the loose tolerances. It requires a ton of Teflon tape to keep it from leaking. We're talking five wraps around the neck when most are just two or three . The seller provides the tape and O-rings, which is appreciated.Otherwise, installation is easy. There were no carbon particulates or dust that came out when I first rinsed it the sink or after installation. This is the first time that's ever happened with a carbon-based filter. It makes me wonder if it was re-used but I couldn't find anything that would indicate a previous installation.Initial water flow has not been reduced. We do have a low-flow shower head . The quality of the water is great. No more spotting on the glass shower door and the soap rinses off the skin very cleanly. Unfortunately, it moves the shower head lower and outward. Good in some cases, but if you have tight clearances with a shower door that swings inward near the head it may cause an issue.I'm going to give this another week or two and report back.4 Week Update: My nails and skin are a lot better. No more peeling or itchy skin. The filter does a good job of filtering chlorine. I would recommend giving it a try if you need a Nickel finish.

We have well water and already have two filters plus water softener. We’ve lived here for three years. I was breaking out on my head and body and my hair, normally silver gray, was turning rusty. Since using this filter, about a month, breaking out has ceased and my hair is back to it’s normal silver gray. My shower stall stays cleaner as well. You won’t be sorry. I’m in my late sixties and installed it myself. My husband wasn’t home. It leaked a little at first but sealed tight after the first few minutes.

I’ve had dry and itchy skin and scalp for years. I’ve used dermatologist prescribed shampoo and skin cream without success. I began to consider installing a water softening system. As I scrolled the options on Amazon Prime it seemed every options was $500 or more. Then I got to an AquaBliss chrome unit for $33 with almost 2,500 reviews and a composite 4.75 rating. I placed the order. It arrived the next day and took 10 minutes to read the instructions and install the unit. The next morning I took my first shower anD must say I was stunned by how I felt afterward. My normally dry hair was soft and shiny. My skin felt smooth. After toweling I could not see the usual dry cracked skin. I ordered a second unit, this time in burnished bronze to match my second shower. This one my wife installed perfectly. I used that shower today and was again delighted with the results. I heartily recommend this unit.

Taking a shower with the filter on seems the same as before. I already had a water softener and city tested water and wanted the filter to remove chlorine and fluoride and perhaps any heavy metals, toxins etc. that may be in our public water system or in our pipes. I will need to get a pool water testing kit to see what are the chlorine PPM's are coming into the house and what's the reduction at the showerhead. I will amend my rating accordingly. The product "looks" good and installed easily and they provided the teflon (toxin?) tape for the pipe joints. The jury remains out at this time.

The filter was easy to install, only took a few minutes. I live in an area with very hard water so I was looking forward to a less expensive option compared to buying a water softener. It's only been a few days but I can already notice a positive difference in the way my hair and skin feel.

I struggled to find a filter like this that had a Nickel finish like this one. Aside from the looks this has notacrable helped with my dry scalp and eczema problems. Installation is seamless but certainly use some pliers to tighten it all the way.
