Works a bit too well..
Used this to attach different types of artificial grass surfaces to my homemade platform for hitting golf balls. I needed something that would hold the patch of turf in place when i hit. Turns out that the velcro grip and the adhesive is so strong that the durable foam (that can handle serious forces from golf swings) gives way before the velcro releases. This just pulls the entire patch off of the turf backing. Annoying. I admit to using way too many for such a small turf section, but that grip is super strong. Im betting that a small child or a roommate's xbox controller could be stuck to a wall or ceiling using like one or two two of these. Super strong.

Does what I needed.
Regular velcro did not work for me. This product was both bigger in size and stickier. I have a recliner with worn out ends on the arms and I needed something to keep the arm covers in place. When heavy and aged people are lifting themselves up and down by the arms on a leather recliner, arm covers are a slippery problem. There is also slippage when the recliner reclines and comes forward again. I tried the regular velcro first combined with a staple gun where it seemed appropriate. This did not work for me at all. Staples turned out to be a big problem, because they came out and were showing up all over the place. THIS item is working superbly. The velcro size is bigger and the stick is stickier. So far so good. I hope it continues.

These things are really strong both the adhesive and Velcro

That the product behaves and works as advertised.
I liked the degree of holding power the 2 inch wide set provided compared to ordinary velcro material used previously.I used the product to wrap completely around two parallel roll bars on a sandrail - to bridge the 18 inch space between the bars with 2 inch wide convertible top material strips that supported a large convertible top above, keeping the top from sagging into the space between the bars. This kept the top looking nice and tight. The application is holding well after 2 days since installing onto the bars at three different locations along the length of the top. If the fabric bridge slips and sags, I'll have to sew the outer loop tapes to the fabric bridge. The adhesion to the fabric is most likely not as good as the adhesion of the hook pads onto plastic tape rolled around the bars. Time will tell! Your product strips were really good to work with, pealing off the backs with tweezers. Thanks

It works
It is "velcro," even though the seller feels that, in this litigation-happy society, it is wise not to use that word. I have randomly included a completely-unrelated photograph of a pearlescent and slightly-iridescent ammonite fossil.

Nothing heavy duty about this hook and loop
So I was looking for some good heavy duty hook and loop to hold down a car floor mat. However, there is nothing really heavy duty about this product, the hooks are standard size and work with standard loop but dont really connect with car carpet. The pieces are a standard 2" wide. The gluey adhesion is just standard no real extra grip. The full story... First, I selected an area on the bottom of my mat, ground off the nubs and created a relatively smooth surface, at least 50% of the area was as smooth as a baby's butt. I then cleaned the bottom of the floor mat where the nubs were removed with a heavy amount rubbing alcohol about 3 times until the cloth I was using came back with no residue or dirt. I then set the mat in the sun, nub side up for about 15 minutes letting it thoroughly dry, then brought it in to cool down a few minutes before applying a strip of the hook side to the back of my mat, pressing firmly with a steel roller I had. (I dont know exactly where I got the roller from) but I used several times to get really good contact and adhesion. I put a total of 5 strips of the hook fastener, 4 corners and one in center of the top 3rd of the mat. Then I put the mat in the car, wiggling a bit to get the hook to connect to my car carpet. seemed really great at first. I then pulled my car into the garage and there is sat the rest of Saturday, and all day Sunday. Monday I went to work, all proud I had fixed my mats. As I got in my car, I felt the mat slip a little, but it was far better than without. I reached down and wiggled the hook and loop that felt like it slipped and drove to work, as I got out of the car the mat slipped a little more, but nothing great. At the end of the work day I went back to my car not thinking about the car mat and stepped into the vehicle and the whole mat moved. The adhesion gave away on 3 strips and the hook did not connect with the carpet on the other 2 strips. All 5 strips had failed in one way or the other. This hook and loop is just not heavy duty in my opinion.

Great value
I have use this on my wheelchair foot rest to help hold it up. Although the fuzzy side is on my foot rest and takes a beating. The other half is pressed over 2 raised rivit style bolts. I applied this over a month ago. Still going strong. Only came off the rivit side once while cleaning my chair. I bought the pack and have all but 1 left and have a bunch of things things to stick around. Lol,worth it! Another great product from a great adhesive company
