Tested both Rite in the Rain and Koala paper-I'm using Rite in the Rain
I have used both Rite in the Rain "Weatherproof" and the Koala waterproof letter sized product. The Rite in the Rain material loads into my Brother laser printer much easier than the Koala. I have to use manual feed and the feeder grips the R.R. product and loads it correctly almost every time. I am using these papers for maps and did some testing earlier on. The RR paper is much easier to fold and takes a set better. It is not as durable- just to test it I folded one and carried it in my back pocket for awhile. It definitely wore more but it should be more than adequate for its use.I also exposed both to water. The RR paper would absorb a bit of water after awhile but, again, it should be good for these bicycling maps. They are kept in zip lock baggies so the only real exposure is if they are taken out in the rain. The Koala is much more water resistant but, again, the RR paper will be adequate. I am using the Koala for cue sheets which I expect to be exposed directly to water at times.

You CAN print and the ink stays on the paper
I do a lot of work outside, in a humid, tropical country. The paper is RITR so it was apparent it would hold up but I also wanted to print in an inkjet printer. Although it says the paper is not for an inkjet, it works, the ink remains even when getting wet from sweat, humidity or rain - and it didn’t jack up the printer. Your call but worked for me and have always love RITR products

You can write on this paper when it is wet
This is Good favour to use to make log strips for Geocaching. It cuts well with a paper cutter and if you are going to print on it you must use a laser printer. The paper resist moisture. Because of that you cannot use an inkjet printer which deposits a moist Inc. on the paper. The ink just won’t dry and absorb properly into the paper but laser printers work very well

I found its limits
RITR paper is very tough and rain-resistant, but it still has its limits. I enclosed some of it inside a Ziploc bag in a pants cargo pocket and forgot about it, then had to do a creek crossing in water, waist deep. A little bit of water leaked through the zipper on the bag without my immediately noticing it. When I found out later on, everything in my bag was a mess. The RITR paper was pretty disheveled too and a lot of the ink had begun to run. But I set it aside and let it air dry, and it was good to go, again.

Great paper
I ordered this paper when NY switched from waterproof hunting/fishing licenses to normal paper. This paper feeds into the printer great and I had a hard time telling the difference between regular paper and the Rite in the Rain when I removed the extra

Very durable waterproof paper.
This product does what it claims to do at a reasonable price. In any ordinary rain or moisture conditions, it will work extremely well.I torture-tested this paper as follows:Laser-printed standard 12-point text & gray-scale photos on a sheet, also wrote in ink (using the special Rite In the Rain waterproof pen, not included, purchase it separately) and in pencil on the reverse side. Then, I put the finished printed sheet in a bowl of hot water (140 degrees F or so) with some dish detergent, and crumpled it into a ball. I scrubbed the paper against itself and my fingers for close to a minute, until it was totally wrinkled and saturated. The paper resembles US dollar bills in wet strength -- very tear-resistant, requires real effort to rip even if wet.Upon unfolding, about 50% toner & ink density was gone, but it was still possible to read the material without much difficulty. Moreover, I could still write on the paper with the special pressurized-reservoir waterproof ink pen or an HB-hardness pencil, without tearing the sheet. If you carefully flatten out a soaked, crumpled, soapy sheet on a hard surface and use a kitchen scrubber, you *can* remove *almost* every last trace of ink or pencil -- but not all of it, there is still a shadow of the original left, even after this extreme test.

Works like out is suppose to do
I never use standard paper for a field book. I have used Rite in Rain field books before. This paper is just as good and has my specific form to fill in. I made field notebooks for use in logging drill core. I had my form laser-printed on the paper at the local print shop and had the shop bind it with spiral binding. The paper worked fine in spite of rain, high humidity, and sweaty hands.
