The Bergeon is better but not by much
I do not own this large jaxa by Bergeon because of my experience with a regular size Bergeon and regular size China made jaxa. They are both all metal. The Bergeon is better but not by much, having a friction washer between the handle and body, the Bergeon keeps the size setting better. I modified the the China made jaxa with a similar washer and is better but the Bergeon is still a bit better because of less flex.I seriously doubt this plastic X-large jaxa will be better than an all metal China made jaxa.Additional note of my regular Swiss made Bergeon jaxa. I had a very difficult time getting replacement bits for this jaxa. I had to try several pieces of the same Bergeon batch to get bits that will fit the jaxa. That's not good as to consistency/quality. Most supply houses do not stock the bits.Update 03-31-18. I eventually got a all metal X-large jaxa made in China or was it India. Works well/good and I believe it cost $10-15 with the usual assorted bits. My advice is to actually check the jaxa in person because there are many variations of this tool on the market.
