Personally I don’t know, but they are so easy to remove and pop in their handy box.

Is it ok to stick it on the bbq even though the bbq is hot?

If you have a gas barbecue, or indeed any other with side tables, such as the Weber gas barbecues, it should be fine as the tables do not get too hot. I wouldn’t put it on the frame of the barbecue itself.

Is this bbq light completely cordless? I don't want any cords?

Yes - they run off batteries. Magnetic base, can use on bbq or any other surface for that matter. I’m pleased with my purchase. They come in a handy box too.
