Millionaires

Monopoly Millionaire provides much more strategy than the other Monopolies I have tried. Its Fortune cards which cover every property have a luck component but also include strategic maneuvers to save for later. With its thick cardboard money, it's easy to see who is close to a million so that you can strategize whether to buy houses or save your money. Comparisons: Traditional Monopoly: It goes faster than the traditional game and it is more positive in that the rules do not rely on the misfortune of others going bankrupt. The Monopoly Millionaire Deal Card Game is fun and provides a little strategy but it is no where near as fun as this. If you want a small taste of the board game, try the Deal Card Game too. Monopoly Ultimate Banking: If you hate math, then Ultimate Banking is for you. But it is definitely all luck based. The ATM feature is really cool and worth it for the experience alone but we got bored with it. Note: The Fortune cards are quite thin. We spilled water on one and while the water didn't hurt the board, it damaged the card too much for my peace of mind. So I laminated all the Fortune cards to prevent further damage.

We rarely play Monopoly because it takes so long. With just two of us to play it and one of us a child - which I think it's a great learning game (specially with the money) it takes us a couple days to finish a game! My son saw this on a commercial so I purchased it for Christmas. We played it right away and it was so much faster! You could make it longer. It's still the basic concept, with properties, houses, hotels, collecting a salary on passing go, chance and jail. However the first one to $1 million wins the game. It may have been a bit too fast for his liking. I reached a million pretty early into it so not all the properties were sold and definately no houses were bought. I honestly went around the board about 4 times and I won. So either we played it wrong or it's really quick - with really no incentive to buy properties to bankrupt a player - you can just keep going around the board collecting money and pretty fast. He didn't like that the paper money was replaced by thick cardboard money. While it's more durable - the regular play money is so much more fun. Also - due to the bank being setup in the middle of the board - it doesn't leave much room for dice to roll. While the 7 year old loves it - I'm myself am down the middle on this one. However, I do like that I dont' have to spend 8+ hours playing it!!

Way more fun than the original. Best game ever.

This is a quicker monopoly game than the original or other versions that I've played. It has several interesting and different features. My grandsons ages 13 and 14 also like it.

Great game

I have 2 sensory kiddos. One is high function and the other is more severe. They play this every day they cannot go outside to play when weather is not suitable...

This is my favorite monopoly for the family. It’s more challenging than the kids version, but faster than the regular version. I played it with my husband and kids that are nine and 13 and we all had a blast.

I initially bought this to play with my grandchildren. They love it so much that we have to play it on every visit. It's brilliant and the whole family now play it too. I highly recommend it.
