Nutricost Whey Protein Isolate (Salted Caramel, 5LBS)

Awesome flavor! Great protein!

Having subscribed and placed an order for the Salted Caramel flavor, I must admit that I do not believe I will be ordering this particular flavor again. It seems to have a taste more akin to artificial butterscotch, and not a pleasant one at that. But I'm an old timer. I remember drinking casein for livestock, which looked and tasted like ground plexiglass. Bad taste isn't gonna make me to throw protein out. :) However, my next order will be Strawberry. I'll update my review accordingly. Otherwise, the protein itself is good. Doesn't give me any gastrointestinal problems whatsoever even with two scoops a serving. (60g)

For whey isolate protein, you can’t go wrong with this protein. You’ll get 30g of whey isolate per serving. The taste is good, I am currently taking the salted caramel flavor. I like the protein overall, but the only knock on it, is that it gets a little foamy after shaking. I only take it with water so I’m not sure if that’s the reason for it.

I have many Nutricost supplements that I use on a daily basis, so I was excited to try the way protein isolate I Purchased, the salted caramel flavor. when the package arrived. I will admit one of the reviews that I read, said that it was difficult to open, to my surprise it was quite difficult to open, and was almost to the point of cutting a hole in the top and dumping it in a separate container when I finally dislodge the lid. Other than that the product tastes good mixes well. don’t use too much water though because it does dilute the taste quite a bit. overall good product.

I loved blending it to make a banana smoothie.

Love this protein

I really loved this protein powder. I mix it with milk and iced coffee most days. It mixes well and tastes good, although I do wish it had a stronger salted caramel flavor. I’m nearly out and needed to order more, but saw that the cost jumped up $20+. Normally it’s around $72, and now it’s about $95?! I know prices are rising on everything, but a $20 jump in price is ridiculous. I really can’t afford that. So I guess now I’ll have to switch to another brand. That was another thing I used to love about this protein powder. It was affordable. Now? Not so much.

I got the Salted Caramel flavor, and it taste amazing - a bit on the sweeter side, but that's what I like since I have a sweet tooth. No funny whey aftertaste at all! But what I valued the most is the that tub is almost filled to the brim. I've gotten other whey from different companies that starts with i and ends with pure, and they are always just above half of the tub when I open it - and they have this disclaimer written on the tub ,"settling will occur", and I say that's BS. They should just say "shrinkflation will occur". But not Nutricost! This company is legit!!!
