Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T337A 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G (AT&T) 8' Tablet - WHITE

I love this tablet and it was super cheap too! It fast to boot up and the screen is the perfect size for my son to do his homework on at school and it works seamlessly with my T-Mobile sim card even though this one was setup for AT&T.

The 8.0 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 is nothing too spectacular when it comes to format factor and performance, but as a secondary tablet for rugged use overseas, the Tab 4 serves its purpose. My only major gripe, which unfortunately has nothing to do with the tablet itself, is that the tablet was not initially unlocked as was indicated in the Amazon listing. This greatly impacted productivity for a few days as I was unble to connect to local cellular networks while travelling abroad. Thankfully, the seller was very cooperative once they were made aware of the problem and provided an unlock code within the week. Now the device is fully functional and has not had any issues connecting to 3G networks when Sim cards are inserted. I have been able to download work-related documents and read emails with relative ease and, as someone who primarily uses an iPad, I have been very pleased with how easy it is to maneuver the operating system. There is the occasional glitch and performance hiccup, but nothing serious enough to negatively impact productivity. Additionally, the device has no problems running Android-based apps. All in all, this is a very good intermediate-level tablet capable of handling the range of standard operations expected of a network-ready smart device.

Great little tablet. Apps load nicely and the control features operate with ease. Both front and rear cameras take excellent, crystal clear photos and the screen resolution is extremely sharp with excellent viewing quality. I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife and she LOVES IT. With the Smart Shell case, it fits easily into her purse for easy carry. And now, after having had a chance to use it myself on several occasions, I will be back to get one for one for me.

I signed up for Amazon Prime so I could receive this Tablet in two days, as I need it for work and school. Unfortunately the Tablet was defective right out of the box. We charged it fully after receiving it, and then tried to turn it on. At first it would turn itself off within a minute after loading the programs (which took a lot longer than I had been lead to believe given that it is a recent technology). Finally, after that happened three times we looked up a fix on the Samsung Site and did a hard reset. After the programs booted up, we clicked on Google, chose a subject, and scrolled down three links (without choosing one). At that point the Tablet froze up with the screen still on. It would not turn off at that point. A hard reset did not work. There was no way to turn it off until the battery ran down (it was a frozen screen the whole time.) The Box and Paperwork assured us that this tablet was inspected, in new condition, and worked perfectly, yet it is obvious it was broken and malfunctioning when they sent it (and it was very expensive to boot-not a good deal but they sucked me in by promising it was in perfect condition.)I contacted Amazon at that point for a return. I repackaged the item and printed up the labels, and Amazon assured me that UPS would pick up the return at some point if we stayed home all day between 8am-8 PM. We stayed home the entire day, wasting it, and yet UPS did not show up at all to pick up the return.I purchased $50 of accessories for this Tablet (screen protector, additional memory card and case) and now they are useless along with this broken Tablet they assured me was in New Condition. I WILL HAVE TO RETURN THEM AS WELL-WHICH I IMAGINE WILL BE A SIMILAR HASSLE!! I used up my Christmas Gift Cards and have nothing to show for it. I am very disappointed and afraid to ever trust this site again.

The tablet I received was supposed to be in "used very good" condition, nope! It was like new!I've only had it a couple of days. It's a huge leap forward from my old nexus 7. All of my common apps loaded right on, and work correctly.It did not want to work with my straight talk gsm sim, right out of the package. I did a factory reset, fiddled with the APN settings, and now I'm rocking out with 1gig of data a month at 4gLte speeds.Where this kind of tablet shines is for using the app WAZE for navigation. It's absolutely glorious having the amount of situational awareness a screen this size provides.Also, today I got force fed an at&t update for about a half an hour. Now I have Lollipop 5.1.1 installed. Time will tell if that's a good thing or not.Summary:, I'm totally happy with this.

Works properly but the battery life is too short and takes a long time to charge.

Good tablet but expected it to be a phone also .. Must clearly put that in product's description.

Works great on 4G LTE AT&T. Ive got 20GB a months on my plan, and never seem to come close to running out. Great to use on road trips. Operating Android Lolipop 5.1.1. No glitches what so ever. It used to freeze up for 5 seconds or so when it ran Android Kitkat 4.1.1. As everyone has said in the comments, it does NOT come with a phone or text message icon, BUT I have AT&T messages on here thats directly linked to my phone number attached to my phone. I ordered a "Good Condition" model, and I do believe it is in good condition with just a scuff by the volume buttons. Overall 4 stars.
