Is this made in Germany, or China?

This backpack is made by the Yuzhoukee Power Equipment company in China. If you look at their 63cc and 80cc model they are identicle. It is difficult to find parts and Schroder only carries the carb and pull start assembly for spare parts. If they truly had repair facilities to fix these machines they would be listed on their site or in the manual. I wouldn't put too much faith in their 5 year warranty since they rarely answer the phone. I would look on Ebay, Amazon or Walmart to find replacement parts. Just compare the part you need with the pictures and description shown. Most all China made 2 cycle engines all use the same parts. Just go by the engine size.

How does the warranty work

The warranty is covered under a five year replacement warranty including the motor.  If a part is required simply call us at 1-800-381-1406 and it will be delivered within 2 business days free of charge. If the unit requires warranty repair we will send you a free return shipping label and either repair or replace the unit free of charge and have the unit returned to you within 7 business days of delivery.

What is the Newton rating for this model and why are you so much cheaper?

It’s cheaper because it’s poorly made junk. You can get the same thing on Alibaba for less than half the cost and you’re still getting ripped off. If you watch any of the reviews you’ll see the people who bought them are impressed, but the performance just isn’t in the same league as an Echo, Stihl, Husky, etc. Those will run 10 years. This one maybe 10 days - maybe.
