This is a great bit of kit, I’ve got the WiFi version, just make sure your WiFi signal is good, Wherever you mount it, mine is down the garden and right on the limit of my WiFi, I can still get a live picture but can’t use some of the features like playback of recorded videos. I have a sd card in so that will record all the action to be viewed later. All I need now is some visitors

Excellent video and sound quality. UHD mode is the default setting but this creates lag so it's important to change it to SD mode at each log in for smoother running action with no loss of picture quality. Bluetits are in and out of the birdbox and the camera shows their colours really well. The video playback cut feature is a great tool to reduce the size of the clips which are then automatically stored onto your device.

The first problem encountered was that the microphone seemed to be missing. Phoned the greenfeathers help desk and was told i needed to take the back off the camera as the microphone was sometimes hidden away there. That solved that problem.Downloaded the android app but found enclosed camera instruction manual had different instructions to greenfeathers help page. Another phone call to the help desk seemed to sort the issue out.Tried to use the camera app several days later and could not get it to work. Another phone call to the help desk got me yet a slightly different set of instructions again which does now seem to have resolved the issue.The camera is now working well with the app although any motion is delayed slightly. You seem to need to use the SD setting for improved performance.The help desk were very helpful but I feel their instructions need overhauling to a single up-to-date version.

Includes leaflet advising a cup of tea while reading instructions. I’d recommend something stronger! After 3 hours trying had return label printed! Tried again next day and thought I was getting there but no - it’s not doing what the (poor) instructions say it should. Suspect a fault so will try again....

Works as advertised with high quality pictures. Easy to fit, very clear instructions. If any problems, comprehensive videos and information on the website.

Set up and installation is clumsy, and hard to understand - there are several differing sets of instructions online/loose in box/in booklet. It's absolutely great when it works - but it so often DOESN'T work! Constant error messages, gets stuck endlessly buffering, shuts down without warning... it's a highly frustrating product to own. I returned it earlier this year when it refused, despite countless attempts to re-installing, to 'see' my internet for 4 days straight. No mean feat visiting the Post Office in lockdown! After a week or so they claimed to have found nothing wrong with it, and returned it, which didn't delight me, although whatever they had or hadn't done to it, it could now 'see' my internet. We limp on. I'm keen for another camera, and don't mind the price tag, so long as it actually works and doesn't drive me mad with poor functionality. I wouldn't buy another of these.

My camera arrived, nicely packaged but did not work (power supply was OK - 12volt) so returned. But, oh dear, much confusion as to model numbers, software and set up. Tried an android smart phone, an apple tablet, and my PC before realising here was no wifi signal and it was dead. But extremely confusing and irritating instructions. Those with the product (nicely printed) are different to those on the website and digging down, I discovered what I had been sent NCIP2WF, had been discontinued in Dec last year but there was no way of identifying model number on the camera itself. A really bad example of how NOT to sell software. (I spent 40 years in the computer industry so know a little about the subject). Poor show.

I have a owl box high in my barn the camera has a talk back function. I found this handy to scare out Pidgeon and jackdaws. Green feathers has removed this from the app reducing the appeal of this camera Shame I have 2 of these so I’ll have to look for something else.
