Staples 950991 Arc Customizable Leather Notebook System Purple 9-1/2-Inch x 11-1/2-Inch

IT SMELLS SO BAD! I took it out of its packaging and it smelled like pot. I have had for almost a month now and the smell has not gone away. I have tried all kinds of things to get rid of the smell and short of burning it, nothing works. Its like if you walked into a room after someone smoked a joint and you immediately had to blow up 100 latex balloons.People at work give me weird looks and I have tell them its my notebook and not me!The smell is soooooooooo strong. I regret buying this.

This product had to be sprayed by a skunk. There is no other explanation for it. I opened the box and oh boy...I gagged. I have even left it outside one day and in the garage another and the smell will not go away (and my entire garage stinks). My husband actually asked me if i ran over a skunk. So sad because I really wanted this in purple but after seeing other reviews talking about the smell I am worried ordering another one won’t work.

Had to return since the cover has an awful smell to it (like a skunk smell). It’s very pretty but the smell is overwhelming! I tried placing it outside to see if the smell would go away.. it didn’t. Very disappointed that the seller hasn’t cleared this issue up since there are other reviews who mentioned the smell.

Let me say first, this is an excellent notebook--real leather and pure eye candy! I own two because I love them so much. This one, however beautiful, smelled like skunk. The smell permeated the room. However, Amazon, made it right and all was well. Order one of the other colors!

I love this book! It keeps me very organized between working and studying. I love that you can add papers or take a way without messing anything up. This is a very nice notebook. I take it with me to all my meetings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and have!

Color was perfect, but the smell was atrocious. It literally smells like a skunk sprayed it.

This notebook cover is very sturdy and works so well for my new teacher planner. I changed out the 1" discs for 1 & 1/2" discs and it was so easy. The leather of the cover is a beautiful deep purple (think eggplant) and is made very well. This will be a cover I can use for years to come.

I bought this as a FAR less expensive alternative to the Levenger Circa I have been wanting. Comparable quality, works the same and is compatible with their products. Love the color!
