Works flawlessly
I pull a car behind my motorhome. A brake controller is a must. I used this same model of controller in my previous motorhome, and it was flawless. This one seems to be functioning just as good. Installation was straightforward.

Great unit
Works perfectly with my 2020 Honda Pilot EX-L. Plug and play operation with harnessTekonsha 307000. The unit needs to be mounted vertically because it has a hill sensor that automatically adjusts the breaking power. I also like the unit because at a stop for more than 5 seconds it reduces the power to the brakes to extend the life of the trailer brakes.

One of the Best
One of the best brake controllers for the aftermarket side. Put on a 2016 Chevy 1500 and was impressed with how well it operates. I’ve hauled the max rating for the truck and have never had a problem stopping it has never malfunctioned or delayed on me. Would recommend for anyone who has a few trailers, that haul and don’t care for the factory breaking system. 10/10

Works good, but mounting was a bit awkward.
Works well as far as I can tell for trailer braking. My only issue was when trying to mount it. It comes with two mounts. One is a snap-in type of bracket that works fine, but I wanted to use the more traditional bracket that gives you the ability to adjust the angle. That bracket requires holes in the controller itself, which aren't pre tapped. Holding the controller with one hand and trying to hand screw tiny self-tapping screws through plastic with the other hand isn't easy. You obviously don't want to drill a pilot hole into the controller, and I didn't want to put it in a vise to hold it steady. So, needing the controller that day, I ditched the mount I wanted to use and went with the snap mount. I attached a picture of the side of the controller and the divots for the holes that aren't there.

Great unit for towing our camper.
This replaced my 9 year old Primus IQ. If I get 9 out of this one, I'll be very happy! Nice small size fits under my dash where I can still see it. The mount is stable and looks good in the location I selected.

Awesome
Worked as intended. Had no problems using on a 30' trailer.

Used the Plastic Holder
I couldn't figure out how to use the more flexible holder for the unit. Instead, I used the one position plastic holder. I was drilling into plastic, so being more precise lining up the one position unit seemed less work than figuring out how I was going to use the multi-directional holder. Nearest I could figure out, if I used the multi-position holder then I would have had to drill into the unit itself. I couldn't see taking that risk when I needed this thing to work. I will accept having to look a quarter of an inch another direction over having to puncture the unit to mount it, and having that be its undoing.Otherwise the thing worked fine. It seemed correctly set on the initial setting of 6. It worked well enough that I was confident taking the trailer down a Colorado mountain pass in the middle of December. If I wasn't confident, I could have taken a longer, and flatter, way around. I had to drive through a lot of 25 mph switchbacks. It did fine. There was more than one YouTube video for my particular vehicle. Humanity is so good.
