I had a man do mine. However I watched him and it easy for him to do.
Build for all weather conditions. Holds a lot of yards tools. Keeps everything dry. we have had a few really storms. The Shead has Held up great. I would advise any one to buy one. I wish I had gotten mine a lot sooner. Plenty of room for everything I have. I need to organize mine a little better. Thats a personal thing.

Quality product
Good shed. I would have give them five star unfortunately, they should've added at least one extra bolt when I opened the box one bolt was missing. When it snow and I don't see any leakages. Also they should try to put or create a light inside the she. I did one by myself using body motion light. It looks good. I build a 6 inches deep concrete 12 X 14 feets foundation and place shed on it looks good. I will advise them to keep a space for camera.

Nice extra storage
Installed this in the backyard, I had a concrete slab added to the existing slab so I can lay this on a hard surface. Install was a bit difficult, definitely not a one man job, most of the areas can be done alone, but the walls and roof I needed some help. Overall happy with the shed, it has all our bikes and my tools.

Not easy to build
The Shed looks beautiful when you finally get it built but boy oh boy it's not easy to assemble. This build has so many parts and the instructions are terrible. I had to watch the YouTube video and read instructions to figure out what the heck they were instructing the builder to do.What I learned:Make sure you have a flat level surface to build on. If you don't, things will not line up and drive you crazy. This shed has gone through a bunch of changes and not all the parts they show in the YouTube video are still used. It's going to take you a couple of days to build this shed, it took me 4 days. You can build it on your own, I did, but it would be much easier with two people.Do not bolt down floor until the shed is built. I bolted the floor down first thing because I didn't have anyone to hold things while I installed them. That was a mistake. Things, like the floor have to move during the installation. Now that I'm done I like the shed but I hated it while building. At one point I did call customer service with a question and they were very helpful.Time will tell if this shed stands up against the elements.

A sharp looking addition to the property.
I was fortunate to have a son in law and his friend construct the shed as a surprise while I was on vacation. They said it was a challenge. All I did was hang shelves and hooks and anchor the she floor to the masonry floor under it. That was challenge enough! Once finished it is clearly a good product. But, have friends with you if you choose to build it yourself.

Horrible support.
The shed looks nice when finished but there are numerous assembly videos, from Lifetime. The problem is I guess there are also numerous different 10x8 sheds, that look exactly the same. The one I got didn’t have near the amount of steal support that I saw in the videos. Instructions on the sheets are horrible. When completed I had 6 metal bars left over. After some research, I found that those were roof supports. No where in the instructions were they installed. I was able to loosen some screws and get them in after. Then they say that the doors are steel reinforced for security., except no where to secure the left door with provided door stops. I drilled a whole in a metal support for the front gable and was able to support the top. The bottom is supposed to have a metal plate, to be installed over a plastic hole to secure the bottom. Well, the plate is not included, is not in the instructions, even though you clearly see where the plate is supposed to go, including the two indents for the screws. I’ve been back and forth several times now with the company, just to get that plate and screws. I identified the part number from the video but that wasn’t good enough. They wanted it from the instruction book, which doesn’t have it. I’ll go to the hardware store and make my own ground anchor. Horrible company. Will never buy lifetime again.

Installation challenging - quality excellent
Firstly: great quality thru and thru, better than any storage shed we’ve ever assembled.Secondly: the install is challenging - if you don’t have a weekend or two and a lot of patience we recommend paying someone to put this beauty together.Shipping arrived on time and in excellent condition. This company is US made and packaged and they did a stand up job in the crating and shipping. After a few hours of un-crating and laying out and identifying the numerous parts and pieces (some of the metal pieces are not labeled well and bags of hardware are not easily identifiable) my wife and I began the arduous task of assembly. We used a battery operated screwdriver with long shank, a 4’ ladder, a 6’ ladder, a large rubber mallet and a hefty helping of patience (of which I lost mine a couple times). The instructions suggest using three adults to assemble - probably a good idea although a third person would be just standing around most of the time. If you take this on do yourself the favor and read and re-read each step of the instructions and pay close attention to the “Tip!” Associated with each step of the assembly instructions otherwise you’ll be constantly taking two steps forward and one step back! This project reminded us of building LEGO sets with our kids where every step of the process is imperative to the success of later steps. The completed shed is adorable and quality second to none. No fun putting together but very pleased with the high quality!
