Contixo V8-2 Tablet

We wish we had ordered this tablet to begin with. A few more dollars are worth the quality of the quality.

Haven’t had this tablet for maybe 8 months. Seems like a while however I have a different brand I’ve have for 2.5 years and still works pretty much like it did the day I bought it aside from normal wear. This thing from the beginning had issues connecting to WiFi hotspots or anything of the such. It now won’t stay connected to wifi. At first it would connect then have to be reconnected and it would be fine for a bit then have to be reconnected but now it will not connect at all. I have tried resetting my router disconnecting all devices ect. And this is the only device in the house with this issue. The health of the battery lasted maybe a month and after that it just dies out of nowhere and will even lose all charge within a hour or two even if it’s not in use. It’s laggy and the screen has almost zero sensitivity which isn’t a big complaint seeing at toddler fingers are not always light to the touch. It also doesn’t allow apps like Hulu even tho I read it would. I’m just super disappointed and only put up with it this long until it was in the cards to get one like my other one.

They have a jelly case. The book as free and work well. It will read the books to you.The device is laggy. Slow to respond to touch sometimes. So far so good.

This was a gift for my grandson. He loved it! It seems durable enough to stand up to his 2 year old antics

I like the price it’s affordable for people who don’t want to spend a arm and leg on a high end tablet or iPad. My kids are 3 and 4 it works perfectly for them and have been learning a lot more since I got them a week ago. I will update later when I have these a bit longer. The chargers are very cheap so be carful with them. The first day one of the chargers end got bent and stopped charging completely. I wish I could get a better charger since it just lasted less a day for it to break. Other then that it’s great a little slow but fast enough for the kids. Again I understand it’s not a high end tablet so I don’t expect it to be supper quick. It would be nice if it came with a back stand in the back so when the kids are sitting on a table they don’t have to hold it. I feel it makes it hard to even play in the apps with having to hold it the whole time. Usually we lean it against something but it be nice if it had a stand. I’ll update in a few weeks or months depending if there’s changes.

UPDATE- 1/20/20One of the tablets from Christmas just "broke". One day it wouldn't turn on. It was just a black screen. I wrote to this company and explained the situation. Even though it was past my 30 day return mark, ( it sat in my closet the whole month of December as i bought it early for Christmas) they do tips me to return it and they would repair it if they could. About a week later i got a message from amazon that they refunded me for the tablet. No communication from the company. I guess that's not a huge deal but an email explaining it would have been ideal. I just received my new tablet and so far so good. It's not the same as the first 2 we ordered even though under amazon it says i ordered the same device twice. This one has a different screen saver and i had to download the 20 games myself instead of having them already installed. Not a huge deal though. Overall, I would probably order again.These are great tablets. I bought 2 for Christmas. Kids ages are 6&7. The games that were already installed are great for their ages. Some are a little too young, and a couple are a little challenging. But overall, it was nice having the games already installed so we could decide what types they liked/disliked. Some reviews said the tablet bogged down because of all the games installed. Ours never has. Also downloaded a movie for a long road trip and still no problems. The tablet comes with 2 types of chargers. One is a 9mm and the other is a regular cell phone charger. Both of the 9mm chargers broke within the first week. That's my only complaint though. As far as a first children's tablet goes, I'm pretty happy.

I bought this tablet as a Xmas gift in Dec 2025 and on the last 2 months, it started having connection issues (wouldn't stay connected or find networks) and now it has lost sound. And the battery is crap. It has to be charged every single day and there is a lag. I think next time I'll stick with the brands I know and spend more instead of grabbing a deal. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.
