Looks to be accurate and has the functions I need.
I measured a few items, and the readings look accurate.12W LED bulb - as 12.7W,243.5V,0.097A,power factor 0.5360W incandescent bulb - as 61.0W, 242.6V,0.25A,power factor 0.98The model I received: ECOSAVERS PM001-UK ES-0021-UK does not have a rechargeable battery - instead it has a battery cover and two button cells, so eventually they will need replacement, but as the display turns off after a few seconds once the meter is disconnected from the mains and you stop pressing buttons they should last a long time. These button cells mean that I can review figures while holding the device, which makes it easier to read.If you want to reset the max and min power, and energy and cost then press and hold 'energy' and press 'up'. This preserves the time of day, cost per kW/h and elapsed time.If you want to reset the elapsed 'on' time without affecting the other figures, press and hold 'energy' and press 'clock'. This preserves the other settings. This answers the main complaint of this style of meter that there was no way of resetting those figures without resetting the whole device, losing the time of day and cost per kWh in the process.

Readable display. Reasonably Accurate. Easy to set up and use.
I had an old plug-in energy monitor which I have never been able to use properly, The instructions were difficult to read and I could never get it to work. It has inputs for different rates at different times on different days and other menu options I could not fathom, so I bought one of these and another of a different make to see if one was easier to use than the other. The other was a besic energy Monitor and was slightly cheaper than one of these which are branded Decdeal but have no maker's name on them. I found both monitor types easy to use, you just have to press the COST button for four seconds and it starts flashing for you to input your electricity cost in £ per kWh. I didn't bother with any other inputs, because I just wanted to measure electricity consumption for 24 hours for several different devices. After 24 hours, both meters gave a cost in £ so I was able to identify which appliances used most electricity and which used very little. I found the appliances on standby and mobile phone chargers used very little, whilst my high-end gaming PC with three monitors costs about £0.50 per day and the tropical fish tank about the same. One of my fridge freezers used £0.48 per day but the other used only £0.22 per day (it is newer). Negative feedback comments around Electricity Monitors mostly centre around an unreadable display and inaccurate measurements. I have to say that a bright, illuminated display would be worth having, but I never had any trouble reading the display on these monitors, although you have to be within two feet and looking fairly square on. In terms of accuracy, when measuring same device, over three days, I found that the besvic meter recorded £0.50 and the Decdeal showed £0.48, so there was not as much variation as I had feared. This does not prove they are giving an absolute accurate figure, but at least they were consistent. In terms of power measurement, the meters showed about 100W of power consumption for my PC on it's own, and 250W consumption with the three monitors turned on as well. That is equivalent to two and a half 100W light bulbs which seems about right to me, so I think they are reasonably accurate. Overall I found these easy to set up and use. With the recent astronomical increase in the price of electricity I think these are worth buying to help reduce energy costs by becoming more aware of the high cost appliances in your household.

Meh
I bought one to try and monitor my usage of my electronics due to the rise in price of energy. However it does not allow for the calculation of different price per Kw/h at different hours as many companies now charge differently at different times per day.

Does the job well
This seems to be an excellent product. Shame the screen lacks a backlight to illuminate it.

Useless instructions
Wouldn't buy it again

Energy consumption and cost meter plug
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to know how much it was costing to run my new heat pump tumble dryer. You simply enter your energy providers Kwh price into the device and press go on the appliance. Voltage, Amps and Watts being used along with £££ are constantly being read....

Nice bit of kit
Gives you a good idea where the cold areas are in your house; then you can target for insulation; purchased from a local seller who recommended.
