First thing you WILL notice is the growl it makes sucking in air. You can watch all the video’s but it won’t justify the real life thing and it takes a POS sounding car and makes it sound somewhat decent without having to remove the cat, resonator, and/or muffler. I installed it and it took me about 30-40 minutes super easy any idiot who can look at a picture can figure it out. You can feel a slight torque increase and some power. I love it I love the growl the slight torque boost but overall harsh reality is if you are going to get this just for gas just get a throttle controller of you want to feel faster get a throttle controller, now if you want to happily spend $500 on entry level sport parts that’ll feel like a complete overhaul of your stock car that can easily be removed so you don’t void any warranties if you bring it to a dealership and want to just have fun…. get both like I did.

Love the new sounds generated when accelerating, at first it sounded a little weird like an old Honda growl but I'm starting to like it a lot more. Makes my engine bay look a lot sportier, no differences in gas mileage for me. Installation took about 45 minutes for me, didnt have any issues with process as I had all required tools and no components were missing. Instructions were clear enough.

Poorly packaged and missing parts.

Installed on 2018 Mazda 3 2.5L, auto, hatchback. Took me approximately 20 minutes to install. The filter portion appears to be very much compartmentalized away from most of the engine. Absolutely love the sound of the engine now. Car feels slightly more responsive. I have on qualitative data to substantiate this. This is only based on a "by the seat of my pants" evaluation. No noticeable fuel mileage changes. Actually, my mileage may have worsened because I tend to accelerate harder now just to hear that beautiful engine growl. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Not only did the shipping get pushed back 4 times but the hose it came with wasnt the right size. Even with a hose clamp it wasnt sealing right so i had to get a different hose elsewhere

Just installed on my Mazda 3 HB 2.5, and the sound is great, I can't tell about performance because 5.5 hp extras are not like a big change, but I'm confident of what K&N says.It comes with all the necesary to install just need the tools, just follow the instructions video and it will be done in less than 45 minutes.

First off lemme just say the sound is amazing, it just doesnt compare listening to it online. I have mine comboed with a borla exhaust and the intake was the cherry on top.
