The thumb finger holes were too narrow for me, but my teenage daughter LOVES these gloves. I would definitely size up if you have long fingers or thick fingers. They have worn well, kept my daughters fingers warm and toasty.

I use these mittens for hiking. Great for taking pictures with my phone. Don’t have to take mitten off and keep track of while touching features on phone.I used them for shoveling and did not like them for that task.Size was perfect. I actually measured my hand like they recommended.I accidentally ordered wrong size so I sent message to seller through amazon right away and they got the message and sent the right size. I was very impressed.

A few years ago I got turned on to flip top mittens and got a pair that turned out to be perfect: magnetic hold open, thumb flaps, fit my small hands with short fingers, etc. They finally started to fall apart, and I got these to replace them.Overall they work fine; I can use my fingers with the flaps back, and can feel enough to press buttons with them covered.. As others have mentioned, the magnets are a bit weak/covered with too much fabric, so the flaps do tend to come undone and I can't hang them by the magnets to dry. They fit me OK, but they're a bit long so they tend to bunch up at the bottom of my pinky and ring fingers (my hands are 7.25" around and 6.5" from tip of middle finger to base of wrist). The suede works OK as a grip (I use the palms to open poo bags mostly), but not as well as silicone. The material hasn't held up the greatest to holding a leash, as it is already starting to wear in the places the leash moves against after about a month of use. A thumb flap would also be a nice feature for use with phones (it's a bit challenging for me to hit the camera button with my finger with only one hand free).

They fit about how I expected, and do a decent job keeping my hands warm when they are closed over my fingertips. So far I like them.

Was SUPER excited to get my new TRAILHEADS GLOVES, as I have 2 other pairs and they are fantastic! Upon opening the package, there was an unattached Trailheads M/L tag and the gloves. Tried them on but they were too small. Checked the size tag inside the golves and was surprised to see they were actually S/M UNDER ARMOUR gloves. Took a second look at the gloves and sure enough these were not the gloves I ordered at all. I would like to think that there was just a mix up with the order, but then why would the TRAILHEADS tag have been in the order as well? :( Will be returning.

There is a ‘non-forgiving’ stitching around each finger (where the base of your finger meets your hand above the knuckle) which slightly cuts-off circulation. However, the material is nice and fleece will inside is soft.
