Extremities

Myu initial review :First off I'm a cold weather person, but was waiting around the other morning when it was -7c and had lost my gloves last year :) so ordered these.Am very impressed with them.I would say in terms of size I'm a male large, these did look a bit small but the way they are made is very flexible so fitted me well. As an aside, think they would also fit people with samleer hands.Using them with a touch screen phone was no problem, I found that impressive as they don't have the nasty plastic that some gloves have.I do wonder if these are so cheap because they might be seconds from a production run and then just stitched up,see the second photo, you can see the stitching.For me they are fine as far as keeping my hands warm, others do use them as an inner glove. They are pretty thin.Now an update after a couple of weeks :There is significant pilling, see the last of my photos.I originally rated them as 5 star but have had to reduce it to 2 stars.Even after a couple of weeks they are really starting to show a lot of wear.When they were new I was impressed with how well they worked with touch screens and track pads. Now they don't really. You can do simple tasks such as touching a button but they have totally lost the fine control. I can swipe to answer a call on my smartphone, but can't use applications that require a bit more control. Similar with my laptops track pad, it results in the mouse dancing all over the screen.

You can't go wrong with Extremities gloves. My daughter decided to take my old synthetic thinny gloves for her journey to work, so left me only with my Extremities furnace, which are overkill for most temperatures. So, a new pair of thinny gloves for tucking in jacket pocket. Lovely and soft, stretchy, and the touchscreen additions work for me. In terms of warmth, they are fine if you give them time. Best not to put them on when you're already cold, if that makes sense. Obviously not the ultimate in warmth, Extremities have a multitude of other choices according to your need, but these are excellent value.

Very compact, nicely warm and well made. Ideal that you can use your phone screen with them on too!

Got these from another seller/listing on Amazon's - paid £3 more :(Anyway still cheap and functional gloves, actually I use them as liners for thicker gloves. Of course I would have preferred much thinner merino gloves rather than acrylic, but these are cheaper.Top and bottom seem the same so I am not sure which one is the left and which one is the right glove.The 'Touchscreen' function does not interest me since my device wakes with fingerprint which of course does not work with any gloves.

These are comfortable and warm, and small/thin enough to be worn underneath gardening gloves or outer gloves /mitts. (I have not yet tested the touch screen capabilities of them)

It is nice to find a pair of 'One size fits all" gloves that actually fit my XL hands. These are so much better than gloves with patches on the fingertips and they do work with touch screens.

Favourite ever gloves, this is my second pair after I lost one of my first. Touchscreen function works really well and they keep me warm through Scottish winters. They're hardwearing, the threads don't pull like cheaper gloves and they come out of the washing machine good as new.

Really like these gloves as general purpose keep warm gloves that allow me to use my phone.Note: no use in rain or snow, but at this price that's not a problem.
