Rhythm Clocks "Grand Encore II" Magic Motion Clock

I have had Coo Coo Clocks, Grandfather Clocks, Mantel Clocks, and a Bird Clock, but this is the most beautiful clock and sweetest sound I have ever owned. I keep it on Spiritual Music for the most part, change it to Patriotic on some days, and at Christmas will put it on Christmas music. Yes it was higher in price, and that was a big debate for me for awhile, I checked the price on other sites, many were higher than Amazon, a few even $100 to $200 for the same clock. So I ordered it. It was very well packaged for protection, easy to set up and hang on the wall. The price, well at the end of the day I always felt the way I always feel. You get what you pay for, I have seen Grandfather Clocks for $200, they work by batteries, the good ones sell for $1,000 that you wind. This particular clock is well made, and worth the price. Once you have it, you would never second guess why you bought it.

I adore this clock. The Rhythm clocks are so well crafted and the music is second to none as compared to musical clocks by other makers. This particular clock is a treat and full of small details and surprises as well as being gorgeous overall. It sounds just lovely. A great timepiece and investment. I want another different one from Rhythm for upstairs! Great packaging so no worries on shipping. Only tiny complaint is my clock came with instructions in two languages but none in English, but the clock is intuitive so no issues using it.

This is the most fantastic clock...I bought one for myself and one for my daughter in law....She loves hers as much as I love mine....The music is fantastic, it's a real Show Stopper....We love the idea that it does not chime during the night.....Keeps perfect time and it's just gorgeous!!……It is such a unique clock, more beautiful than the picture shows....I'm buying one more for a gift......

The clock is absolutely beautiful. It plays several songs on the hour. The mechanical features fascinate everyone who walks by the clock. At first, our clock wouldn’t play and we discovered the light sensor wasn’t set right. I contacted the vendor and he was amazing! He reset the sensor on the clock right away and now it’s my wall for all to enjoy.

Beautiful clock. This is our second Ruthie Clock and we are very happy with both of them.

I had such high hopes for this clock... my parents have the same one purchased 9 years ago. However, unless there is direct bright light, either sun or ceiling lights on, it didn't play. I live in the NE and time of year not as many hours of direct sun...I took the shade off my lamp, 100w bulb placed directly in front of clock.. still not enough light, have to have full ceiling light on to play and NO way to turn off light sensitivity. I tried my parents' clock at my house and it worked ok.. must have been less sensitive to light years ago. Such a shame, way TOO expensive to only work a few hours a day.. need to return. :(

First one was broken, the replacement has been working great for many years now. Its very quality and sounds outstanding.

I received this on August 16th so has been on the wall less than 24 hours. Not much of a trial period. The clock was easy to hang due to catch area on back. The clock is designed to go off at dark, with only end table lights on it quit playing music at 9:00PM. Everything appears to be working OK. Two, strange things: 1) Paperwork says put good batteries in and will last a year. Yet they put batteries in, only good for six months. 2) Paperwork says get model# off the lower back, there is no model# anywhere on this clock.
