These are basic testers, old school. They get HOT quickly. DO NOT hold the load switch long, it will burn those hot coils or a resistor. I've done that. Inexpensive, good to have. Just don't abuse it, they don't do well being tossed around, left outside, or standing on the load for long periods. Be sure to let it cool off before pulling another load test.

I have used this type of tester for many many years. This works just fine. For diy people, read instructions thoroughly. It works.

No complaints with this one. I checked both my motorcycle and car battery successfully. Diagnosed a bad motorcycle battery and a good car battery. Problem with the car was the alternator, not the battery.

Easy to use, just hook it up to the battery and use the switch to test. You do have to be careful with the heat it puts out but thats just how it operates. In the few weeks ive had it, ive already identified two bad batteries.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Good old school device. Good price and quality.
