Can this adaptor also work with voicemail and phone calls?

It seems so. I am using it to connect bose qc20 to the iphone XS max, and I can use microphone for phone calls, as well as volume controls and play/pause button. Earphones are pretty much functioning as if they were connected to the phone directly.

Does this have a call/mic feature? Need to connect to a motorcycle helmet comm system
