Use Ronson Flints for Ronson Lighters
Just rec'd these flints for my vintage Ronson Varaflame lighter. Previously I had been using Zippo flints, but each time it would take about 5+ attempts before it would light. With these Ronson flints, my lighter fires right up on the first attempt each time. Zippo flints may work well in a Zippo lighter, but for my Ronson lighter, Ronson flints are superior.

my sister gave me a Ronson lighter for Christmas. it worked very well until the flint ran out. i tried every brand of flint and none of them worked properly. i read an old article from the days when they actually repaired this vintage model. According to the repair men, Ronson supposedly uses a much "softer" flint. I can verify this. None of the others will do your Ronson justice. I searched everywhere for information after trying all the competition and none worked. Even Ronson's own website says any flint will work fine. I wanted to use Ronson from the beginning but they were always out of stock and not available from local retailers. I finally got mine and couldn't be happier. Ronson saved my Christmas gift. With the Ronson lighter fixed, I'm starting to like it more than my Zippo.

Lighter flints are great value for the money
I ordered and later received the lighter flints in about 3-5 business days. I like using these flints in my Zippo lighters. They fit well, and last an average long time. I bought three packs to make sure I have an adequate supply. Thanks, I will do business with you again.

No doubt that Ronson and Zippo flints are identical
They are both made in Austria and the packages are the same except for the names on them and the colors. The flints also look the same and seem to work the same. They seem to be better than the generic ones, with better sparks and smooth action. The companies merged a while back and so it would be crazy to have 2 flint factories.
