We bought this product because we were traveling to multiple countries in Africa that required different power plugs. This modular solution with interchangeable plugs made the most sense and it performed very well. This power module will be the basis of supporting my power needs on other trips, and I will purchase the specific country plugs as needed. It’s a well engineered product and it served us very well. We also bought the extension cord separately with a plug that enabled us to test the device in the US before we left. I will also write a separate review for that. I recommend that customers check how each plug fits into the power module and also the extension cord before they travel. And I do recommend buying the plug for use in the US so that you can test everything before you depart on your trip.

I have used these in India, Tanzania, and Italy with no issues. I definitely prefer this with its interchangeable plug types over the all-in-one adapters with the self-contained plug types that slide out. These feel much sturdier, and you don't have to worry about the prongs sliding back inside the adapter when you try to plug it in. I did lose one of my EU plugs, though 👀

My hobby is multi-day hiking trips in mountain ranges in foreign countries (I know, I know, most women my age prefer things like bridge or pickleball. I've always been a little off the beaten path). Just because you're on the trail doesn't mean you want to go without your electronics and it is so pesky that NOT EVERY COUNTRY has the same electrical outlets. So you have to have the right adapters. I recently bought Ceptics European Plug Travel Adapter Set, 20W PD & QC, Safe Dual USB & USB-C - 2 USA Socket - Compact - Use in Germany, France, Italy, UK - Includes Type E/F, Type C, Type G SWadAPt Attachments. What a name, right? But, this adapter set was carefully chosen after researching which adapters I would need for my multi-country trip. This adapter came with the ones I needed for Slovenia and France (and also has one that can be used in the UK, Germany, Italy, etc.). I really like this set. The adapter has ports for USB A and USB C connections as well as two US sockets. I plug a multi-port charger into one of the US sockets and can charge five or six things in addition to the two I can charge from the two USB ports. For you techies - the USB ports have a combined 3.1 amps and the whole things is 20 watts. It charges reliably and fast. Maybe the best feature is that one adapter fits three different plug types (and you can buy others for other countries to use with it) so you aren't dragging a bagful of different adapters around with you. I've tried lots of other adapters and I like this one best for it's compact side and useful features. If I could send Ceptics a wish list, it would be to include a nice little bag to carry it in. Otherwise, this product gets all my thumbs up!

My family and I have plans to travel to both Asia and Europe this year and I needed to have the right connectors for each country we are planning on visiting. I also didn't want to find out that I didn't have the right connector while we were travelling either, so I decided to go for this set. This set does not include the Type O connector for Thailand, but Thailand is currently not on our travel itinerary, so I'm not too concerned at this time. If we do decide to visit Thailand in the future, I will purchase the connectors separately. We are a family of 5, which includes 2 teenagers, so I needed to have a few sets. I purchased 3 sets initially and wanted to test the units before travelling. I'm absolutely so glad that I did because two of the three sets we purchased had issues, which is why I dinged a star due to quality control. The first set did not include all the specified connectors. One connector was missing and there were two of another were included. I exchanged this set and a complete set was sent to replace it. The second set had an issue with a loose neutral line. How did I figure that out? I used a Type B connector, plugged the unit into my outlet at home and connected an outlet tester to check the results which showed me that there was a bad neutral. I exchanged that set and another set was sent to replace it. I tested all of my units this way to make sure they all worked fine. We just returned from our trip to Asia and I was very happy with how these connectors worked out. I actually ordered a fourth set because I underestimated how many I would need for my family and our usage scenario. I will absolutely be checking to make sure all the right connectors were included and that it functions as it should electrically. When you purchase this set, it comes with a pouch to store all the various connectors. I'm not a big fan of having to look through a pile of connectors to find the one you needed. I decided to find a case online where I could organize each connector by type and easily find the right connector for the countries we are travelling to. If you are considering this set, I would suggest purchasing it sooner than later to have enough time to verify that all the correct connectors are present and that the connections work as it should. If there's an issue, then hopefully there's enough time to have that issue resolved before your travels. Good luck and happy travels!

Ceptics makes great stuff. I've used their products for years on multiple foreign trips and never had any trouble. I bought this one because I like the size, and it has a USB-C 20W outlet and it has a 120 / 240V indicator. I tested the USB-C power outlet with a MacBook Air and it worked as expected, providing power at 18.7W according to the meter I used. Note that this is not enough power to charge the MBA's battery while in use (that takes more like 30W) but it is enough to power it and to charge the battery when the MBA is shut down. I tested the USB-A power outlet with a USB-A tester with adjustable load, and it provided 5.03V at 1A draw and 4.95V at 2A draw. Both completely acceptable. Ceptics makes great stuff. The three included SWadAPt adapters (C, E/F, and G) will be fine for my upcoming EU trip and all worked perfectly in my tests. What was not included was a US adapter. This is EXACTLY as depicted on the item's sales page. Three EU adapters only. But hey, c'mon Ceptics, would it kill you to include the US adapter? You include it in other kits... but oh well. Anyway, if having the US adapter is important to you then you might want to buy a different kit. Or buy the UIS (Type A or B) SWadAPt adapter separately.

Worked well in a number of European countries given the ability to substitute adapter plugs... Includes Type A, B, C, E/F, G, I adapters but I also had to purchase the "L" adapter for Italy.

An adapter with 6 plugs! Amazing find, easy to use. Comes with a pouch instead of hard case but I am ok with that.

I bought this travel adapter for my Thailand holiday and it worked perfectly. It fit securely in every outlet I needed, charged my phone and laptop quickly, and was compact enough to carry in my bag. A must-have for international travel.
