CS50 Siphon Overflow

I have this hooked into my protein skimmer and it works good. Be sure to turn your skimmer off when you feed because it will suck the feed into itself and waste it. It's kind of a pain to flush out the unused food and junk in the bottom of it but with a good turkey baster, it can be done. Naturally an integrated overflow system in the tank is ideal but this is a good add on if you have to. Get the aqua lifter doser pump to maintain your siphon if the electricity goes out. Cheap insurance. They should just include it with the overflow.

CPR CS50 It is excellent, it has reached great time and is easy settings for installation. I suggest buying the pump TOM Aquarium Aqua Lifter Pump 3.5gph flow rate to 30 inches height which will keep you a valuable job.Very well packed and with great care in shipping.  The thread is 3/4 and the downspout is 1 ".My main tank is 220 liters and the sump is 110 liters.I purchased the EHEIM pump 3000 compact 3 meters Hmax and my aquarium works super good .. Excellent circulation    It is a wonder recommend

I have had no issue with this overflow. Work like it is suppose to. Not to hard to keep clean. The three star rating is because I personal feel it was Just a bit pricey. Other than that I would recommend.

Seems to be a bit loud on outflow. Still 4 stars.. A bit of pipe and re drilling did the trick! Other wise best one for under 80 bucks I've found

Best overflow box I have seen! Amazing quality of construction. I carefully inspected the box and it was flawless. I’m an engineer and I appreciated the quality of acrylic cutting, forming, and, bonding that has been accomplished by this company.

This box is so much better than the eshopps one I had prior. It has worked flawlessly since install and I love having the peace of mind that a siphon pump adds incase of power failure against overflows. It's appears to be well built and when I upgrade my tank to a larger one I will be reordering a bigger version to suit.

I bought this to replace an overflow that was accidentally broken. This was has several improvements in design.The slotted intake seems less inclined to clog than the internal screen the old one used and the outlet is less noisy than the old one was.
