I bought this to run a compression test on my 1995 E300 Diesel, this kit has the correct fitting for the OM606. I cannot verify the accuracy of the gauge, but I had 3 cylinders with 400 PSI, and 3 cylinders with about 350 PSI. Sadly just outside spec. It's a blown headgasket or warped head in my car. I digress, while it was a chore, the compression tester did function correctly and it's likely accurate enough to diagnose pressure variations and determine engine health, or at minimum get you on the right path. I was able to jerry rig my leak down tester onto the compression tester fitting and make the determination that I was losing pressure into the crank case which is either rings (unlikely with such great compression on 3 cylinders), or head warpage/headgasket failure (more likely as the PO didn't notice the bad radiator and radiator cap). All in all, I will likely use this again on other diesels as a diagnostic tool. It functioned correctly for my purpose and fits many other applications.

Low quality product! Adapters don’t work to well!

Every one of the adapter fittings needed to be wire-brushed inside to remove milling burs (see pic). NOT something that I want to attach to MY engine!I used brass brushes from a gun-cleaning kit.
