Can a story be this great! This leaves me in a state of ecstacy. I could not help but smile wide on these stories. This is much more beautiful than the stories are ever meant to be. This is masterful, wonderful and glorious.All of the stories are similar in nature to the ones my grandmother used to recite to me in my younger days. Infact, i imagine myself reciting these stories to my grandchildren in my older days.The stories are full of moral lessons and wisdom. They provide us an insight into a great deal of deep thinking about topics that have confused humankind for long such as religious mortality, nature of God, existence of God, etc. He has produced a true kind of literary masterpiece.It has got so many generas, the stories as wise, funny, scary and full of life lessons. One of the stories includes an attempt to answer existential questions through being a part of a higher plan. Tolstoy moves through these tough topics such as God, Morality, and existentialism easily by giving examples, metaphors and analogies

Good spiritual book

Packaging was ok but there are some spelling mistakes in this book..

A greatest master of story telling of millennia. Stories teach love and compassion. But why tolstoy chose only poor and humble to follow words of god and he showed any good men in rich???

One of the wisest buys from my recent shopping spree, was to buy this book. Unbeknownst to Russian authors and literature, this not only provides a great insight into the country's literary movement but welcomes you inside he mind of one of the greatest authors who ever lived- Leo Tolstoy!The book is hard to put down. Every story has a great moral, one that you are not bound to forget. A must-buy for all

Author believes in love & love....All stories are filled with love and the writers style is amazing to make things understand.

It may sound as an audious remark but I quite couldn't make myself like Tolstoy's stories. Most of them turned out to be boring for me, while others just didn't make any sense. Given the fact that he's considered one of the greatest in Russian literature, I really had expected I'd be loving his stories since we had one of them taught in our school. I even read the stories again and again, but it turned out to be the same, dull reading experience.

Stories are good but little tough to understand few of the meanings otherwise good. Good paper quality too.

Printing and the condition of the book was perfect.highly recommend the content as well!

Thought provoking and insightful

I really love Leo's books many years ago i did read some of his books, but not short stories.

Quite a lot of detail .Stories contained were not exactly my cup of tea.

El ejemplar es realmente hermoso, no es muy pesado, ante lo cual, es cómodo al momento de leer, el canto dorado le da un detalle verdaderamente encantador. El único inconveniente que encontré es que no venia bien embalado, por lo mismo, tiene unos cuantos pormenores.
