Read all the instructions....I tried every screwdriver I had including my sewing machine screw drive and nothing worked to get the screws from the battery pack. Very small skews. The little screws need a small Philips Head Screwdriver. It is included in the small package with ties. Thank goodness.This gadget seems to be working. Mo more rat droppings that we have seen. We have it in our storage unit where we have found rat droppings and the storage company wasn't going to do anything about it. Hope it will last for a while.

I have one of them that does not operate as the others do, may be defective.

So far, so good. Had issues last year which required $600 and change to fix my truck due to wiring being destroyed which isn’t cool on a truck only year old.Started to see evidence in engine compartment again. I had another device which obviously wasn’t working well and made an audible sound...I also used a anti rodent spray which again wasn’t working. I have regularly used rat trap poison baits and literally have had to clean the rat trap bait out of my engine bay where rats tried to make a nest.Then a miracle happened...I tried this device and After I installed this I saw no more evidence of rats/mice in engine compartment. Will update review if this changes. If this Continues to work I will advocate for it to anybody with issues with rats/mice/cats.My ring flood lights used to go off at night due to 1-2 cats that come by at night. Last time I saw one it was sniffing around my truck which made me think it possibly smelled a rat. I think it’s this device or was trying to see. After that I have seen no more cats come around. I didn’t buy this to keep cats away because the cats where I live never camp under my truck. But If you have an issue with cats this seems to also keep them away.

It states you can use it in the attic. It does not work good in the attic as I still here the critters up there. I'm sure it works under a hood in an enclosed area, but the attic (again, says it's good for attics) it doesn't do anything.

Kept finding mouse droppings all over my car and was so scared they were getting into the engine and the wiring. I had read and heard the horror stories of how they could cause thousands of dollars in damages! Since I added only one of these products, no mouse droppings and no signs in the engine. Yay!! Totally worth the cost.

Purchased a 2 pack.Both devices just beep constantly when my car is at rest and in use, very annoying.I am sure the constant beeping is annoying to rodents, but its is very annoying to people so one ends up just turning the dam thing off.Sold as the ultrasonic sound that could not be heard by people.Support was not existent. Vendor doesn't list a product support phone number and The email support was just a generic statement every 24 hrs. No Chat support.i do NOT recomend this product.

Had squirrels get under my Rav4 and chew on some wires. I was surprised, as this as has never happened before, and I had cars sitting out in my driveway for years. We only have a one car garage and my wife's car is parked inside.This came with 2-a great idea and bargain. I put of course under the hood, and seems to work fine. It has been 2 months since I paid $800 to fix my Rav4. Last week I see squirrels in my BACK-yard and a noisy woodpecker in my neighbors tree. I put the other one on my covered (with roof) back porch, and they were gone within one hour. The woodpecker has not returned for over 7 days. So thanks for the good deal. I also put a "fake" snake under my Rav4.For sure the birds don't like it.

These came quickly and included zip ties and screwdriver. With the batteries installed, it works fine. Seem good for a younger person.I am 80. These are too much trouble: the zip ties don't work right, there's no big magnet to just stick them in, I don't know where to tie them in the engine compartment and it's flopping around. I'd rather take the magnetized ones in and out every time I drive.
