This book can be used as a reference text. It should be read alongside Som/Biswas book to meet the requirements of indian university syllabus as well as thorough understanding and insight of the fundamentals of the subject.

Questo testo è molto voluminoso e completo, la particolarità di questa edizione indiana sta nel costo contenuto, anche se spedito in Europa. Testo molto consigliato sia per i contenuti che per la completezza. L'edizione è per il mercato asiatico, si differenzia da quella internazionale, in quanto è in bianco e nero e non a colori, ma riadattata allo scopo perfettamente.

The book arrived earlier than expected. The international version is modest in terms of quality, but the content is the same as other higher-quality version and that is what really matters to me here, so I am quite happy with this book.
