Greentech Environmental pureWash Pro X2 Detergent-Less Laundry System - Ozone Generator for Washing Machines

I have to say I’m always a skeptic about many things with this product absolutely came through for us!! It’s hard for me to understand how it really works but all I know is we have stinky water if it’s left on clothes for more than just a couple hours and our washing machine has water in the bottom of it always and it was thinking horrible this musty, nasty smell And after only two washes, the washing machine does not stink anymore I am absolutely amazed with this product. The first load I forgot these fabric softener and only use one pod and the clothes smelled great after they came out of the dryer and the second load I use one pod and fabric softener and the clothes smell absolutely amazing like I haven’t smelled in years !!!! Absolutely recommend this product! I really don’t trust the Sprayer hose And handle handle. I’m afraid they might start leaking so the product came with two shut off valves which I couldn’t use because my hook ups are too close to the frame so I couldn’t screw them on which I don’t think they’re necessary anyway so I’m going to put one of the shut offs on Sprayer hose at the hook up area so I can turn the valve off when it’s not being used cause I’m afraid of the plastic sprayer hose when we’re not home But other than that, I think it’s a great product. It looks very quality made feels quality and the parts look quality. I hope this all says what I wanted it to because I didn’t really spellcheck it

We moved into a rental and our clothes were no longer soft coming out of the wash. With how much money we spend on clothes I wasn’t willing to allow them to deteriorate as quickly as they were. After a lot of searching for water softener systems, etc. this seemed to be an easy solution to our problem, but would it really work? The answer is yes!I’ve never been happier about a product. It has saved our very expensive pajamas, and other clothes. When you’re spending over $100 a set on soft pajamas you want them to stay soft. The PureWash Pro restored the softness to our clothes, towels, bedding etc.I’ve posted this on our local groups and such bc it really is an amazing product!When I called GreenTechs support line the man was very friendly but wasn’t really sure if it would make the clothes softer even though other reviews said it would. I’m assuming he doesn’t own one of these but if he tells you it won’t make them softer, he’s just not informed well. It absolutely has solved our problem! I still use detergent but I use only one pump of The Laundress now and before I had to use more just to get the scent, it’s a much lighter detergent and better for your clothes but this product def helps us use less and the clothes smell amazing.

The cold water "TO WASHING MACHINE" pipe - above the fitting in the case of the unit develops a crack in the plastic. This is a known issue and has not failed 3 times on these units. It's a shame because the product is great and works as stated on cleaning, but when a pressurized water fitting fails - things get ruined!! We have a drain pan to save the rest of the house but the damage had already been done the prior times with the unit failure. Greentech/PureWash will not replace the unit. Their customer service is non existent! I'd avoid this unit as it's not worth the rick of the damage that can happen to your home when the inner pipe works in this unit fail. Wish they would respond and stand behind their product. Here's a picture of the prior unit that failed - exact same issue and same location of the failure.

I bought this unit because I am cheap and don’t love shelling out for laundry detergent (I already make ours so it’s not $$$) or using hot water for every load. The thing is, clean is important to me. I have teenagers so their laundry is harder to get fresh without a lot of soaking, additives, and long loads.This ozone generator makes my laundry smell like nothing (in a good way) and does a great job with only a tablespoon of detergent for a giant dirty load. The end result is clothing that smells like it was line dried and fresh.Set up was easy. I installed it while getting my kids ready for school as soon as it came in. Getting it on the wall was a matter of putting a few screws into drywall. I used my own drywall anchors because I didn’t like the tap in kind that were included. I got the hoses hooked up and ran my first load as we were going out the door. I’d say it was about 20 minutes total time for installation.I’ve washed my husband’s stinky FR clothing, sweaty work out gear, and smoky camping clothes along with our usual laundry and haven’t found anything yet that the ozone doesn’t take the smell out of.I run loads of colors and whites together with the cold water and still end up with fresh, clean clothes and no color bleeding. When there’s a stain, I pretreat and wash with a tablespoon of detergent. This has worked well so far.The included sprayer works well for soaking non-leafy produce and cleaning germy surfaces. Whatever you do, don’t use it for things like lettuce or cilantro because they turn black and wilt instantly.Overall it’s a good value for the money! I’m thinking of buying another one for our basement washer too.

The cold water in and to washing machine threaded connections began leaking In February 2025 and purchased and installed in September 2024. Sadly new hoses and plumbing tape don’t fix the issue. I guess I’ll disconnect and try to get help from manufacturer. I liked the product up until the leaking and is why I gave it a two star.

Hoping I get my money back and the next one that comes doesn’t leak from the housingThis will be the second time I’ve paid for a plumber to install but that’s on me

This is our second pure wash unit. Our first one lasted 5-1/2 yrs. You know because the clean smell of the oxygen was gone and the screen turned red. I contacted Pure Wash and they said the life span was 5 yrs. so I purchased another on Amazon last week. I was surprised about the negative reviews I read. This product is fabulous. Easy to install and does a great job cleaning clothes without detergent! Can't tell you how much we have saved with this pure wash cleaner!
