FiskarsDuck Edition Scissors, 5-Inch

Love these litte scissors and have a few pair. Sharp and the size is great for detail cutting.

The first time I bought scissors specifically for use on duct tape, I figured it was probably a gimmick and they'd eventually gunk up like all the others (stinky goo-be-gone to the rescue). However, these don't do that. They are nice and sharp and great for all uses, but especially if I need to cut any type of adhesive tape. I think I have a pair in at least 4 rooms now.

These scissors are AMAZING when cutting duct tape and anything really but cuts duct tape like butter, no sticking!! So worth it!

Great for cutting tape! It doesn’t get any sticky residue, and I use it a lot at my job. The black color of the blades does fade over time, and that could possibly be an indicator of when the blades start to dull. I’ve had them about 6 months and no problems so far.

I have to say: these scissors are still amazing at cutting tape. I don't think I have ever had something work like it's supposed to but these do. I just want to thank you for that. Also to tell everyone that these scissors work!!

I use these for cutting Scotch (3M) Heavy Duty Clear Packing Tape when I ship and mail packages. These have not gummed up once so far. They also have a very nice smooth and precise cutting blade with just the right amount of friction. These are much better than the Scotch brand non-stick scissors that eventually couldn't get through one package without being gummed up so bad the tape would get ruined. The only possible negative so far is that the grip holes will be a little small if you have larger fingers.

I have two other scissors of this brand and model. They are perfect. For some reason, these scissors are stiff and difficult to use. I am disappointed. I've tried using a silicone based lubricant on them but they are still stiff and hard to cut with. I'm hoping the stiffness will work itself out but I'm not too optimistic. Otherwise, they arrived within the timeframe promised and ostensibly without damage.

You can cut duct tape without the tape sticking to the scissors or leaving adhesive on the scissors. If you use duct tape often you know what I am talking about. Worth every penny.
