Design Ideas for Bathrooms, 2nd Edition (Creative Homeowner)

Lovely, glossy, colorful book. I like to get lost in the lovely photography. I use it for art reference.

Would be great if I had 40 grand to redo my bathroom. The pics are beautiful, but impractical for a remodel on a budget.

Whenever I 'm decorating, I like to read lots of books and get lots of ideas. Buying used books is a wonderful way to save. I usually look for Like New or Very Good. Many times they are in near perfect condition. The books arrive in a timely manner and I save money. It's great.

Very disappointing. Lacking some very essential information, such as who made the fixtures shown or where to buy them. made them, where to buy them etc. As far as design, how can someone design a space without measurements, or how to place sinks etc, in the bath? The photos are great, and there is some information about lighting etc., but nothing specific about designing, such as measurements or layouts, which why I gave it 2 stars. If you just need to see pictures as you have no ideas as to what you want to do, then this might help. However, for specifics such as how to design, including measurements and proportions and where to place fixtures, including lighting, then this is NOT the book to buy. Also nothing new about storage that hasn't been said or photographed before.

I love this book! I've done tons of remodeling projects, and I always rely on pictures for inspiration when I'm planning a new project. This book is loaded with many pictures of varying styles.

This book had great photography and a lot more realistic ideas than a previous book I purchased and reviewed. In any case, these books would be better checked out from the library or perused at a bookstore and not purchased. Once you glean your ideas from the pictures, you'll never look at it again.
