How long does it take to work?

Depending on how bad the thrush is, of course, but I find this works fast for my guys. I can usually tell a difference within a day or two if I catch it right away.

Can you put on the heal of the hoof? or only the hoof itself?

I only use it on the frog area to prevent/heal thrush. Although I have used it on an overreach wound, it can blister when used directly on the skin.
